I work in a very specialized library that covers the history of Japanese people in Hawaii, and like to think that the work I do here is done under the auspices of WP:Curator, though very few of the articles I work on link back to our holdings... haha -.-; It's very satisfying to use the books and materials in our collection to improve the coverage of Japanese Americans in Hawaii on Wikipedia, so please let me know if there's a redlink or important topic that hasn't been covered yet, and I'll be happy to use what we have to improve Wikipedia!
Right now I'm working my way through the Hawaii Hochi's "Hawaiʿi's AJA pioneers", creating articles for the 100 people listed in the book. I get sidetracked very easily, so I end up working on a lot of biographies that aren't listed in the book, too! Though they usually still have to do with Japanese-Americans.
New Page Patrol
Lately I've been spending a lot of time doing new page patrol, which is probably why you're here. If you want to help out, you should read this page and apply for the permission if you're qualified (please read the tutorial first!). If you want to stop receiving notifications that your page has been patrolled and have created more than 25 articles without maintenance tags, you can apply for the autopatrol user right here.
