Interactions of Anonymous526 and Anonymous874 seem to defy probabilities, with as few edits as each has, and as many (3) intersecting pages.[1] Admits operating two accounts, at same articles, in comments below (updating to highlight here).
Behavioral patterns: Blank user pages; the 3 accounts seldom say anything on Talk pages, but do most of the reverts. 84.x appears to be the mouthpiece. Most of their edits at GrapheneOS, to me, appear to be trying to minimize criticism of GrapheneOS while maximizing "favorable" presentation.
Behavioral similarity: Resonantia with only 45 edits uses Special:Diff/... notation, like 84.x does. Also, In Resonantia's one comment at Talk:GrapheneOS, it starts with "I was going to comment..." similar to 84.x: "I was thinking of..." That same reply also shares similarity with 84.x in being edited 3 times in succession.[2][3][4]
Disclaimer: I accept full responsibility for recently being careless, falling into 3RR violation at GrapheneOS, and getting page-banned for a week.[5] That said, it feels like I fell into a setup, based on the appearance of previously inactive editors taking turns reverting my edits, then going dormant again after 84.x brought the complaint and was free to have their way with the article.
I also apologize in advance for wasting time if these suspicions are faulty. Confirming one way or the other should help with AGF at the article. I sincerely have tried to AGF, and I will say 84.x has appeared to be cooperative on a few suggested changes. On balance, however, doubt lingers, especially regarding the two Anonymousxxx accounts. 84.x seems determined to include some things in the article that have been suggested by the leader of GrapheneOS project. We have not been able to agree on WP policy issues.
Other notes:
- GrapheneOS editing history[6] has a series of in essence SPAs, like most recently in May '22: Gaussgroessereuler and Didyme33. They do not have enough history for interaction reports to show (me) much, but the pattern is the same: blank user pages, hit and run edits or reverts with little or no discussion or edit summaries.
- Recent off-wiki recruitment of editors for the GrapheneOS article has been documented on Talk:GrapheneOS. In addition there were (not documented here) Twitter tweets on the topic, by the team leader.
- The GrapheneOS development team has a lot of servers and computers, and are sophisticated and capable users. My understanding is some IPs were blocked after a previous, related puppet investigation.
- 84.x has disclosed using several other IPs for editing. Given the apparent long, diverse editing history, I admit having some doubts about their involvement in puppetry. Balanced with other considerations like timing and appearance of coordinated edits and reverts, I have to ask. -- Yae4 (talk) 23:24, 29 June 2022 (UTC) Yae4 (talk) 23:26, 29 June 2022 (UTC)

I am the user of both of the Anonymous- named accounts, but not the IP user nor Resonantia. I insist that I have not committed sockpuppetry and have used multiple accounts only for the legitimate use of privacy (albeit somewhat ineffectively). I have never used multiple accounts to edit war, circumvent 3RR or any other rule, nor in any way circumvent Wikipedia policy. All of my edits to the GrapheneOS article were made in good faith and with the singular goal of improving the quality of the article to encyclopedic standards. I have no strong feelings about any of the GrapheneOS project's controversies, nor any desire to influence their representation on Wikipedia, other than to strive for a neutral tone and informative content. Anonymous526 (talk) 23:31, 1 July 2022 (UTC)
- Comment: Sock puppetry confession?.
- Re:"my contributions don't contain a single reversion", now removed[7] this was untrue, because both your Anonymous puppet accounts histories have "Undid revision" at Iron_&_Wine. Also, whether tagged as "undid" or "revert", and whether I agree with it or not, at GrapheneOS your puppets three times removed info' that was previously added, i.e. effectively reversions.
- Behavior Note: multiple editing of your own statements as done here[8], to finely tune and adjust your statements, is the same behavior pattern seen from 84.x here, and in Talk:GrapheneOS (and Article). Not that there's anything wrong with that style you share. -- Yae4 (talk) 00:58, 2 July 2022 (UTC)
I don't oppose performing a CheckUser action on me per se, and I think the case opener may have reasonable coincidental suspicions to request it to be performed on me. User:Anonymous526 and User:Anonymous874 may pass the WP:DUCK test for edit summaries and articles where they've edited, but I have no such correlation to any of the suspects. The editing history (date of first edits) is also different. WP:CHECKME also prohibits me from requesting a check on myself.
The declared IPs are on my talk page (where edit summaries quack) are the connections I am declaring, and have declared a long ago. I do also declare two unnamed, dormant Wikimedia Foundation user account: One with last edit on enwiki in 2017, which is linked to the committed identity hash on my talk page. Commons:User:Jameslwoodward once CheckUser'd me in 2016 on Commons, I did wrong and got warned for it via email. The account has been dormant there since 2020. The other is an even older WMF account I've used has been dormant since 2013, and has not made any contributions to enwiki. This IP address I'm using is residential. I can say with confidence to have not contributed with an user account (logged in) since the last account went dormant in 2017 (enwiki) / 2020 (Commons). I have never been subject to sanctions on editing nor seen my edits abusive, on any IP address or account of mine. I do consider it a WP:FRESHSTART – at times I did use the account (dormant 2020) on Commons to do privileged actions like uploading files and making edits to files I've uploaded, but have since then refrained from doing so.
Some of the issues (re: policy) by case opener may also be appropriate for other venues and some are in process of being resolved there. Some venues unexplored may be WP:NPOVN or WP:COIN, if the case opener chooses to do so.
I declare to be unconnected to the Android and GrapheneOS project/community/development, and as stated by OP, I have a long, diverse editing history, which should further limit the weight of these claims on abusing editing privileges. It is my understanding that technical investigations are not done without clear behavioral evidence suggesting abuse.
I'm willing to answer to other questions and comments here, as seen fit. 84.250.14.116 (talk) 01:07, 1 July 2022 (UTC)
- Noting SPI notifications 84.x decided to do on their own.[9][10][11][12] I thought the automated function I used would do notifications if appropriate. After I saw none, I observed and followed: "You may notify the suspected accounts if you wish. (Notification isn’t mandatory, and in some cases it may be sub-optimal. Use your best judgement and err on the side of not notifying, since a clerk, admin, or checkuser can always do it later if needed.)"[13]
- Noting personal attack in edit summary[14] Also noting the eventual apology at my User Talk (see link at last Note below).
- Noting my previous attempt to get help, and (blocking) admin declining to give any help or suggestion.[15]
- Noting escalating hostility and ending of discussions by 84.x on Talk:GrapheneOS.[16][17]
- Noting 84.x "disengaging" on my talk page.[18] -- Yae4 (talk) 02:02, 1 July 2022 (UTC)
- Resonantia has 45 edits, with 10 at Graphene and Talk:Graphene this June '22. What is the random chance that that their 3rd edit, on March 8 '21 would be at a page your IP previously edited Android 11? Clearly they are also not a new wiki-editor as their first edits show similar wiki-skill, and similar interest in correct archive links in sources[19], like you.[20]
- For someone who claims no connection to Android or GrapheneOS, you seem very knowledgeable about GrapheneOS when adding wiki-links to the statement I originally added to the article without wiki-links,[21], even though, as you say, some were not even included in the source.[22] -- Yae4 (talk) 20:14, 1 July 2022 (UTC)
Android 11 change (Special:Diff/1089823264) was related to Special:Diff/1089823077 around that time.
Attestation and hardware-based verification are mentioned in the Android Police source cited (perhaps contrary to what you may be claiming). Attestation is also mentioned in the German-language Pro-Linux reference, however – due to language barriers –
84.250.14.116 (talk) 22:10, 1 July 2022 (UTC)a simple Ctrl+Fsearch for "attestation" didn't find it later, so I thought there were no two sources to support the statement independently anymore and therefore removed it for WP:UNDUE. Both citations were available in the GrapheneOS article on Wikipedia before I started editing (not meatpuppetry actions), which has been a resource of education on the topic.- To further clarify, this edit was due to my confusion believing it was in the German-language Golem.de reference. 84.250.14.116 (talk) 22:21, 1 July 2022 (UTC)
- You connecting "hardware attestation" or "hardware-based attestation" to "Trusted Computing" article was surprising, because you do not find "hardware attestation" or "hardware-based attestation" in that article. You find lots of "hardware" discussion, and lots of "attestation" discussion, but never "hardware attestation" or "hardware-based attestation" so making the connection demonstrated significant knowledge and understanding. -- Yae4 (talk) Yae4 (talk) 23:33, 1 July 2022 (UTC)

I suspected two new WP:SPAs with recent edits to GrapheneOS to be meatpuppets, but found little supporting evidence (one of them disagreed with my edit and reverted it too). Just a note here. 84.250.14.116 (talk) 16:05, 4 July 2022 (UTC)
- Comment. I wish to acknowledge 84.x's most recent behavior has been conciliatory and cooperative towards me, and as concerned with meat or sock puppetry and COI editing and personal attacks at GrapheneOS and Talk:GrapheneOS as I am. Thank you for that. -- Yae4 (talk) 03:27, 6 July 2022 (UTC)
- Comment. Obligated to update: Most recent behavior is back to disregarding discussions and edit warring. -- Yae4 (talk) 16:31, 6 July 2022 (UTC)

- Not surprisingly, the Anonymous twins are
Confirmed to each other. Resonantia is ostensibly
Unrelated, but all of their traffic is on proxies, and the kind of proxies used to intentionally obfuscate your identity. I'll leave it to a clerk to figure out where they want to go with that, and how to tag things.
No comment with respect to IP address(es). I did a cursory sleeper check and didn't see anything. -- RoySmith (talk) 17:05, 6 July 2022 (UTC)
