Some proposed changes
Information to be added or removed: To the end of the History section please add However, London-based fintech Centtrip found that about three-quarters of medium-sized to large firms surveyed believe they will benefit from Open Banking within the next couple of years, with 64% agreeing that it would save them time and 58% believing it would also save them money.
Explanation of issue: The section is incredibly biased solely including Mick’s opinion saying that open banking is “a daft idea” when research has been carried out since to prove that not everyone thinks this way. In order to keep neutrality it is important to provide both opinions towards the concept.
".... firms surveyed believe they will benefit from Open Banking within the next couple of years, with 64% agreeing that it would save them time and 58% believing it would also save them money."
I find that hard to believe. The time to study this new system is not calculated and the costs for IT security people who they need to hire for everyone not to fall prey to hackers is not included either. Tech also changes quickly and someone will update/upgrade the system and then you need to start all over again. I still need to see an example where this system is beneficial.
