The Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center in Washington D.C. is hosting the APA (Asian Pacific American) Wikipedia edit-a-thon, an editing event for improving and increasing the presence of cultural, historic, and artistic information on Wikipedia pertaining to Asian Pacific American ("APA") experiences. The WiR virtual node targets more focused work on the coverage of APA women and their works.
