Wikipedia editor
Thinker78 is a Wikipedia editor, since late 2015. He believes in fairness, rational and honest debate, admitting mistakes, and the necessity of giving explanations for one's actions. Among other things, he is an investigator,[a] a translator,[b] a syncretist veg'n free thinking skeptic and a member of the Guild of Copy Editors. In college he was one of the top students in classes of Logic, Math, and Statistics. Since he was a kid he has felt passion for the written word and its analysis. His first account was User:WonderingAngel-aesc78, but sadly he didn't continue editing with it and has since lost the password.
Due to Thinker78's trying to be impartial and unbiased in his analysis and editing, sometimes editors tend to accuse him ironically of being partial and biased, more specially in controversial topics. This is because he tries to think and analyze independently, questioning what he thinks needs to be questioned and playing the Devil's advocate, without trying to adopt, or make exception to his skepticism, the majority's position only because it is the majority's or popular position. This is not to say he won't adopt the majority or minority position if he thinks it is the proper thing to do based on logic and Wikipedia's guidelines and policies. These two latter for some reason in his opinion seem to be often ignored in favor of a single page's status quo.

Timekeeping
It took me almost 12 hours throughout a week to work 22 edits or 246 words of "readable prose size" of the article 1990s—on average, about 2 edits per hour, half an hour (0.5h) per edit, or 20 words per hour, 3 minutes per word. 22 April 2022
Challenges
June 22, 2018: Transclusion. In Talk:Noah's Ark#Myth vs account or story controversy, it took me more than two and a half hours to figure out how to properly format it, given that initially text was just copied from the help desk to the talk page of Noah's Ark. Initially I was just looking at which way was more proper to indicate that text was "moved". I thought about hatnotes, but I spent a long time analyzing the guideline to see if it was proper use. I figured out that I could use a transclusion hatnote. But soon I got embroiled in finding a way to indicate which text was actually moved, because a new discussion was started. I found out about boxes. But then I realized I would have to actually transclude the text. Which I finally managed to do, transcluding the text. Yay!

This editor has learned from personal experience that controversies in Wikipedia can lead to high levels of stress which can cause in turn severe adverse health effects. This is no different from controversies at work or in other settings although probably less severe because you can always step away from Wikipedia for as long as you want, something you cannot always do at work.
This editor has learned that the French military intelligence coerced with judiciary threats a Wikipedia editor into deleting the Pierre-sur-Haute military radio station article from the French Wikipedia.[3]
