“Qadiani” term on the tombstone of Mirza
Dear Bonadea, is it possible we discuss here that why are you removing the reference to MGAs tombstone, which refers to himself as “Qadiani”? And if he refers to himself using that term, how is it necessarily a slur? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Secretive lobbyist (talk • contribs) 15:06, 1 January 2022 (UTC)

- @SourceRight: thanks for your message. I'm afraid the draft is still written like an advertisement, which was the reason why I declined it. Another editor has removed a lot of inappropriate content, but there is still quite a bit of promotional text there. In addition there doesn't seem to be any coverage of her in reliable independent sources. A Google search is not a source. --bonadea contributions talk 15:07, 1 November 2021 (UTC)

Move to Draft Ryan Avery (speaker)
bonadea Can you move this to draft so I can find another source? I was not able update this but was supposed to. Could you help me more on how I can get this approved to Wikipedia page. I would appreciate it if you could give me more feedback regarding this article. I'm confident I got reliable sources indicated and that the person is considered notable. Thank you! - @Azumi121: thanks for your message. I'm afraid I am not able to help you with this; since Ryan Avery (speaker) was deleted, I have no access to the text that was in the article. Contact the deleting administrator, whose name you'll see in the deletion log (the reddish-pink box on Ryan Avery (speaker)), on their user talk page.
- When you say "I was not able update this but was supposed to", what do you mean? The article was deleted following a community discussion, so it was in fact supposed to be deleted at the time. Regards, --bonadea contributions talk 15:01, 1 November 2021 (UTC)

Jake Allyn
Hi Bonadea! Just want to check with you to see what I can do to get Jake Allyn's wikipedia page approved? I added some more sources to prove his notability (He has starred in multiple tv shows and even the feature film "No Mans Land"). He has also been praised for his work on multiple outside sources like the "New York Times" and "The Hollywood Reporter" Also, his brother, Conor Allyn, who he writes/produces alongside, just got his wikipedia article approved! Let me know if this qualifies him! Thanks!-Emma Hernandez Emmachernandez (talk) 18:25, 12 November 2021 (UTC)
- @Emmachernandez: The draft was resubmitted without changes, so obviously it was declined again. That there is a Wikipedia article about his brother (it is not "his article") is irrelevant, and as long as the draft is entirely promotional in tone, it can't be accepted even if he should turn out to be notable. --bonadea contributions talk 21:27, 12 November 2021 (UTC)

As a general principle, though, avoid making "I don't know" responses – nobody can answer every Teahouse question, and it is better to leave questions we can't answer, in the hope that somebody will be able to answer it. --bonadea contributions talk 10:41, 14 November 2021 (UTC)

I had asked you a question in Teahouse (see this [1]). So what is your decision??? And another question, why did you do this???(see this [2] I mean if cast can be added without sources, then what is your reason for doing the following action. I understand that it had fluffy text, but why did you remove casts. See, I am not ordering you.. I just want to know the actual thing. Which is right, and which is wrong. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Itcouldbepossible (talk • contribs) 13:34, 14 November 2021 (UTC)
- @Itcouldbepossible: I'm a little confused by your message. You say
I had asked you a question in Teahouse
and link to my response – are you asking what I meant, or something else? I see that you posted the exact same text to two discussion boards; please don't do that, it just wastes the time of other people. Then you saySo what is your decision???
– decision about what, exactly? As forwhy did you do this???
, you link to an edit where I explain exactly what the problem was: the case list was insanely bloated, and the entries contained a lot of text that went against what the manual of style says. Also note that Mon Phagun has been very heavily edited by spammers, which is why it is protected. --bonadea contributions talk 22:12, 15 November 2021 (UTC)- @GoingBatty: @Bonadea: Going batty wrote this. '@GoingBatty: @Itcouldbepossible: I don't interpret the manual of style pages to say that the credits are sufficient, only that the order of appearance in the credits can be used to determine how the cast is listed in the Wikipedia article. But it's true that a local consensus can always decide to go by what the credits say, even if there are no secondary sources naming cast members. Itcouldbepossible, I suggest that you take this question to Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Film, or Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Film/Indian cinema task force if you are focusing on Indian films. The corresponding discussion page for TV series is Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Television.' So I created the same thing in the two discussion pages.
- @Bonadea: I am asking you if many articles can have many people on the cast list, then why not Mon Phagun. Consider Dhulokona, or Gangaram (TV series) or even any English drama, say Fringe (TV series), they have a lot of cast and crew. So what was wrong with Mon Phagun?? I understand they related characters to many other else, so you could have just removed the relationships. Itcouldbepossible (talk) 04:02, 16 November 2021 (UTC)
- No, I wrote that, not Goingbatty–you are quoting the post by me that you also linked to. You wrote the exact same thing that you had already asked in the Teahouse, on two different boards. - Bonadea You only asked me to post that in the two boards, and so I did that. I am not focusing on Mon Phagun. I was editing random articles, when I landed on Mon Phagun. I saw that it had a very small amount of cast items. So when I looked into the page history, I saw that you had removed many cast items because they were overcrowded. I understand WP:OTHERCONTENT, but I want the clear-cut answer...... -
should cast list always have references, or they can go without references??
Just like Wikipedia has over a 6 million articles, many TV and film stubs in it have cast list without sources. I thought that there was nothing wrong with it, until I came to your edit. And at that point I became confused. I read Manual of Style and everything, but I cannot still interpret it clearly. As per Manual of Style for TV or for films, every cast must have suitable references or they would be removed, then most of the wiki articles there would not have been more than 2 or 4 casts. - I want to make things clear from this stage, because soon I am going to create an article, and I am not in a mood to get it deleted. I found out that you are a very experienced user, that is why I want to make things clear from you. Please don't get irritated of me. I am completely new, and I have just started learning Wikipedia, and its thousands of norms and regulations. So things are getting really crazy for me. Please bear with me. Yours Faithfully Itcouldbepossible. Regards. Have a great day ahead, and continue editing like a hero. Thank you. Itcouldbepossible (talk) 08:22, 17 November 2021 (UTC)

Please stop disallowing the correct Information to be written
Each time incorrect and false information is edited on this site and subsequently corrected in order to represent the person in the manner in which they have designed their career, individuals refer to incorrect citations and use the site simply an extension of the media publishing false information. This is apparent when rectified information is removed and false information added. I have fixed much wrong information and now been asked to stop in a threatening way, this is unacceptable. mean? And a templated warning about your violations of Wikipedia policies is not a threat.

Reverts
Can you please explain me the reason for the reverts you made in Rochard??? Were they vandalism????Itcouldbepossible (talk) 13:18, 17 November 2021 (UTC) I also don't understand the reason for this (see this [3]. I had only changed all the pronouns and changed until to 'to'. Please explain me my mistakes. Regards. Itcouldbepossible (talk) 13:18, 17 November 2021 (UTC)
- @Itcouldbepossible: No, your edits were not vandalism. Vandalism, on Wikipedia, are edits by someone who is deliberately trying to vandalise. More information on this page. Your edits to Rochard were clearly made in good faith, but that does not mean they were improvements. This edit for instance removed the italics from the game title which should be italicised, it removed some definitions of the type of game ("two-dimensional game" is not very descriptive), and it changed some instances of "John" (the name of the character in the game) to "the player". It is not the player who has a gravity beam – though that would be rather cool! As for your edit to Thom de Graaf, here, you said in the edit summary "Cleaned up some grammatical errors" which was actually not correct. You removed proper nouns and replaced them with pronouns, and you changed the preposition "until" to "to" or "till". While the use of de Graaf's name was maybe a little repetitive, it was not grammatically incorrect, and none of the uses of "until" was incorrect, either. "till" and "until" are exactly equal – neither is more or less correct – and when talking about time, "from ... until" is slightly more frequent than "from ... to". It is possible to use "from ... to" about time as well. Hope this makes sense. --bonadea contributions talk 15:36, 17 November 2021 (UTC)
Fraser reverts
User:Bonadea noticed you reverted a number of my edits on Robert Fraser. As far as I know, they were adequately sourced? Greg Dahlen (talk) 11:55, 19 November 2021 (UTC)
- @Greg Dahlen: thank you for your message. Yes, I removed most of the text you added to Robert Fraser (art dealer). (Your edits are here, and this is my revert).
- The phrase "(Fraser was gay)" that you inserted after "It soon transpired that Fraser was also suffering from AIDS" was misplaced; a few words about his being gay would be OK, but connecting it directly to his contracting AIDS is not.
- As for the "Personal life" section, it is difficult for me to understand how that addition could be seen as appropriate in an encyclopedia. The language was not remotely neutral, there were trivial and frankly puerile details about his sex life, and it was not adequately sourced. A blog site is almost never a reliable source, so the blogspot.com source is right out. The review of Vyner's book at artforum.com, and the artlyst.com source, are OK as sources go (as far as I can tell), and they are still in the article; using a throwaway, hyperbolic line in the book review to make a statement in Wikipedia's voice about what kind of sex Fraser liked is not OK, though. The corkstgalleries.com also seems to be pretty reliable, and the claim about his being painted by artists whose work was displayed in his gallery could perhaps be incorporated in the Career section. But it looks like original research to interpret the source's "Many of his artists found it baffling to be in his presence but they were fascinated, too. Never has an art dealer been the subject of so many of his artist’s paintings." as "He was painted more often by artists he represented and associated with than other gallery owners." A more neutral phrasing might be "he was painted by several artists he represented", but without some sourced information about which artists did paint him, it is not particularly informative. --bonadea contributions talk 12:28, 20 November 2021 (UTC)
- User:Bonadea Well, I wasn't trying to connect his contracting AIDS to his being gay in an absolute sense, because clearly non-gay people contract AIDS. But doesn't it look like he contracted AIDS from his gay activity? I saw no mention in any source of any heterosexual relationship. Are you saying that even though no source mentions a heterosexual relationship he may have had one?
- Yes, I've read that Wikipedia is doubtful about blogs. I hadn't noticed that the source was a blog when I went to post the edit. The Wikipedia filter told me that a blog source is okay as long as the article was written by the owner of the blog, which appears to be the case in this instance. Knowing that, do you accept the blog information?
- I'm not sure how the language is non-neutral? Fraser was a promiscuous homosexual. The facts I presented flesh out that portrait, and I'd say give a sense of his life, activities, and personality.
- Not sure how the line about a kind of sex Fraser liked, and apparently liked best, was "throwaway." The reviewer read the book and apparently this info was in the book.
- If the source says, "Never has an art dealer been the subject of so many of his artist’s paintings," how is it original research to say, "He was painted more often by artists he represented and associated with than other gallery owners"? I do think it's useful because it shows Fraser was an interesting person if prominent artists wanted to paint his portrait. It gives a sense of his life, activities, and how he spent his time i.e. he spent some time sitting for artists. It shows a different kind of connection to artists than only dealing their art. Greg Dahlen (talk) 09:10, 21 November 2021 (UTC)
- I think you may have misinterpreted Wikipedia's policy about using blogs. WP:ABOUTSELF says that a blog source might be OK to use about uncontroversial statements of fact about the blogger. If there had been a Wikipedia article about Redwel Trabant, their own blog might be used as a source for claims about Redwel Trabant, but not about anyone else.
- "...apparently liked nothing better than..." is classic hyperbole, and it was certainly a throwaway line in the book review. --bonadea contributions talk 11:30, 21 November 2021 (UTC)
Do not return articles
hi,Do not return articles. I did not enter these in the article space. These were entered by the AFC، Please do some research. You are destroying my articles, I will not bring these articles into the main space. These articles have entered the main space automatically. If you continue to work, I have to report your harassment, I just entered the (illegal) movie into the main space, and that was because I fixed the problem with that article.--Iranianbio (talk) 14:04, 20 November 2021 (UTC)
- @Iranianbio: thank you for your message. I have moved three articles that you created to draftspace.
- Bee Ghanoon (film), which you created as a draft at Draft:Bee Ghanoon (iranian film), was declined by an AfC reviewer. You moved it to mainspace yourself, I moved it back to draftspace, you moved it back again and then another editor restored it to draftspace. It is currently at Draft:Bee Ghanoon (film).
- Anahita (film), which you created as a draft and submitted for review; instead of allowing it to be reviewed you moved it to mainspace. Another editor moved it back to draftspace. You immediately returned it to mainspace, and removed some maintenance templates. I returned it to draftspace, and then took the time to review it; it was declined. It is at Draft:Anahita (film).
- Mahmoud Maghami, which you created in mainspace yourself without going through AfC. I moved it to draftspace at Draft:Mahmoud Maghami as it is far from being ready for mainspace.
- In other words, none of the articles I have draftified has been through AfC, and I don't undersatnd what
These articles have entered the main space automatically
means. The reasons they were returned to draftspace (by me and other editors) include a large number of poor / unreliable sources instead of a reasonable number of reliable sources; promotional writing; and text that is impossible to understand such as "This film is very few because it maneuvers on an actor." If a draft has some grammar errors that can be fixed, but when it isn't possible to understand what the text is supposed to mean, and the entire draft would need to be completely rewritten, it is a problem. --bonadea contributions talk 14:48, 20 November 2021 (UTC)

Bonadea First of all, all your information is wrong as always, you were completely wrong about the links, but let me inform you, in the links, the "sarshenasan" art news agency has dealt with this issue in three different news, this is a government news agency and the creator of this It is not a film, it is a producer (Iran Movie) The second issue is the national newspaper (shoroo) which is a government newspaper and covers the subject, newspapers are credible sources for articles. Third, in Iran, no news agency gives a detailed explanation about a film. This is the news policy of Iranian sites،Do you know more than me, an Iranian journalist? Your behavior is intentional and you are looking for war, please end this hostility or increase your information about Iranian articles and its links, I have warned you several times. I have added two valid links to this article, I will add another link and enter it in the main space. McGeown draft
In an attempt to end the creator's frustration, I created sections, moved content, cut sentences, cut laudatory adjectives, and left a note on the creator's Talk page about the need to address COI. Hoping the ends the impasse. David notMD (talk) 13:51, 15 December 2021 (UTC)
Povel again
So.. how are your own plans for Povel? I'm enjoying the autobiography, but not finding Schöier and Wermelin as useful as I'd hoped. Helpful index and chronologies, though. I was hoping I could lean on your library skills to possibly find some book reviews. The autobiography is a primary source, so using it would need as much secondary commentary as possible. Trying LIBRIS showed me I've lost such skills as I ever had with library research. Bishonen | tålk 21:31, 15 December 2021 (UTC).

I will have to straighten this up to you on this edit, Bona. You shouldn't have to look at my contributions when I made that edit on MrBeast updating his sub ranking on the platform in a sentence. You shouldn't remove the sentence that the claim is that "His main channel is the fifth most-subscribed channel on YouTube, as well as the second most-subscribed channel owned by an individual, and the most-subscribed channel owned by an individual from the United States.
" That's a trivial claim for him right now. Why do you think it's not necessary to include that kind of information in a sentence on that creator article when you removed it? That edit is kind of weird when I just visited my latest edit on that page. --Allen (talk / ctrb) 09:30, 4 January 2022 (UTC)

Managing a conflict of interest
Draft:Philipp_Hochmair
Hello Bonadea, I am sorry if it seems that I have a conflict of interest. I don't know the actor personally, but I am enthusiastic about his films and projects. That's why I started to add missing information in the German article. Since I am interested in the work of Wikipedia, I wanted to try to create the English version and then found that there is already a draft, which I then revised. Since I was rejected again and again, I am now somewhat at a loss and therefore very much hope that I now meet all the criteria and finally understand the work of Wikipedia. Many thanks for the support and many greetings Emmy1707 (talk) 14:18, 27 February 2022 (UTC)

Thank you for your detailed feedback. I will revise the article accordingly. However, I have one last question: There was a TV broadcast for Brandauer's 78th birthday to which only Hochmair was invited and in which their friendship becomes clear. But it is no longer available and could at most appear on YouTube. YouTube, however, is unfortunately not a reliable source. There is only the reference to this broadcast in the net: https://tv.orf.at/program/orf2/ausdemarch106.html. Therefore I must look then probably further.Emmy1707 (talk) 11:48, 28 February 2022 (UTC)

Draft: Shrimad rajchandra love and care draft page
Hello, I am an unpaid volunteer, working with other unpaid volunteers to edit the page of Shrimad rajchandra love and care. An organisation that is well-known to Indians primarily due to its nationwide/worldwide charitable activities. The organisation is the highest fundraising NGO for Asia's biggest marathon, the Mumbai Marathon for the past 11 years.
It is well-known to the public, celebrities, and leaders such as the Prime Minister of India and various state and federal politicians in countries around the world. The page currently reads factually, without embellishments.
Please re-read or point out specific sections that need to be edited for neutrality and I'll gladly rework it to make it like other NGO pages (which were referenced heavily prior to starting this draft). This page currently reads more neutral than several other existing ones.
Please help me make this page rich with detailed information because it is truly noteworthy.
Also wanted to know how the page's title case can be improved to Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care. Dmehta81 (talk) 05:32, 7 March 2022 (UTC)

Virat kohli
You are saying this is not look fan based but when I add such words like well regarded, one of the greatest etc in Ms dhoni page an editor is saying there is not needed to add, it is fan based, you can't decide who is worst or who is greatest by your words despite I have reference of website like ESPN, ICC, Hindustan times etc so I will consider your edit also as a fan based Ripomobo11 (talk) 08:49, 17 March 2022 (UTC)
- @Ripomobo11: you misunderstand the problem here, and I think the main issue is really the fact that you don't quite understand the policies involved. You are absolutely right when you say that Wikipedia editors can't decide who is "worst" or "greatest", and it is important that Wikipedia articles don't make such claims in Wikipedia's voice. What Wikipedia can do is present a neutrally written summary of what reliable and independent sources say. This should not be ridiculously detailed and shouldn't repeat every opinion by every critic in every newspaper. If editors disagree about which information is relevant and which is undue detail, they should discuss that on the article talk page.
- In other words, a Wikipedia article can't say "She is the best fielder of all time", but it could be perfectly fine to say "She has been regarded as one of the best fielders of all time". In the case of Virat Kohli, I think you refer to my edit here. I restored the text "He is often considered one of the best batsmen of his era and some critics believe him to be one of the best limited-overs batsmen in history." Note how it says "often considered one of the best", and "some critics believe him to be one of the best"? That is very different from saying "He is the best"! And importantly, there are multiple sources – nine, in fact – quoting experts and other cricketers in several countries. If you believe the wording to be too strong, or if you think that one or more of the individual sources is inadequate, by all means bring that up at Talk:Virat Kohli. But you would have to explain what you mean by "fan based" (I used that phrase because that's what you used in your edit summary when you removed the text, but I honestly don't understand what it refers to!) The edit history of MS Dhoni is a mess and quite honestly that article should be thoroughly revised – I won't try to dig out relevant diffs there, but in Rahul Chaudhari, this could be an example. Your phrasing "who has played as a defender and later became one of the most successful raiders" is written in Wikipedia's voice, and had no reliable source and no context as to what "later" means. Again, if you think that kind of information would be valuable and relevant, Talk:Rahul Chaudhari is the place to discuss it. --bonadea contributions talk 11:43, 17 March 2022 (UTC)
@bonadea I also added one of the greatest not the greatest. Despite of this they said you can't write it. I have reference of website like ESPN, ICC etc but they revert my every true edit. If you able to add this that he is one of well regarded wicket keeper batsman in the cricket, I will be your thankfull because If I do so they eventually revert it.if you wanted I will provide all the resources of reliable and renowned website to proof or refer it Ripomobo11 (talk) 12:00, 17 March 2022 (UTC)
- @Ripomobo11: Here is what you need to do: go to the talk page of whichever article it is you want to add that text to. (Maybe Talk:MS Dhoni?) Start a new section at the bottom of the talk page. Be really clear about what you suggest, like so: "I think this text should be added after the second sentence: the exact sentence you would like to add". Do not say anything about other Wikipedia articles, or about other editors being unfair, and remember that your command of English is not that strong which can make some of the things you say sound less polite than you intended. Focus only on the specific information you want to add to that specific article. Then, provide the references you want to use to support the text. Not just links, but formatted references, like multiple editors have demonstrated on your user talk page. And then you wait for other editors to weigh in. You should not start editing the article after a few hours because nobody has responded.
- What you need to stop doing is indiscriminately removing text and sources from articles about cricket players, with odd edit summaries that have no basis in Wikipedia policy (and are sometimes pretty difficult to understand): [9], [10], [11], [12], [13], [14].... maybe some of these are appropriate, maybe not, but it really looks like you are removing individual words and phrases without making an effort to understand the context or whether they are supported by sources or not. Especially since you have edited at least 14 different cricket biographies today, with no more than two edits to any of them. ––bonadea contributions talk 16:28, 17 March 2022 (UTC)
ItsKesha
Hi I am coming to you for help since I have seen you have been arguing with this user a well - [15] well I started a little one with her on the article of Scott Hall. It started since User:FæɹHaad made this edit on the page - [16] in which he combined both sections, death and personal life, however as I have seen in all of other Wikipedia articles, this two sections are separated in every single one of them, so I undid the edition. Then User:ItsKesha came and undid it - [17] she provided me with the article of Kirk Douglas, in which the death and personal life sections are separated as well... so I undid the edition - [18], later the user undid it again by just saying "His death was part of his personal life, that's how it works" - [19] and I came back to undid the revision by asking it politely to provide me with an article where it was stated that it should go like that "No it does not, show me a guide style article where is claimed that it workd like that, all of the articles on Wikipedia have their Death and Personal life sections separated, even the one you send me to check was the same. Provide me a good source where it says it should go as you are claiming." - [20]. Finally she approached to my talk page and send me the edit warring thing - [21] I feel this is like a kind of abuse of power for the side of this user, plus also a little bit childish since all I asked for was for an article, guide style, where I could checked that what he or she was doing was the correct thing. I also wrote her back - [22] "Well the edit war shall stop if you just provde me with what I was asking for, you just told me that it was as it was, but who actually claims that? If there is an article saying that those sections should be merged just give it to me, this is a childish move by your side If you ask me." So I have also seen this user is problematic in this kind of terms, that is why I am approaching you to remedy this situation and not cause me problems. Greetings, and I await for your comments fella. TheBellaTwins1445 (talk) 21:00, 18 March 2022 (UTC)
- Update, I have read the Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Layout, "Body sections" part, there I found that usually sections with very few portions of text are the ones that should not have their own subsection, and this is not the case, plus it says nothing on separating death and personal life, I see the user argue about how the health problems of Hall were part of his death and that was the reason of the combining, but actually not even his health problems had something to do with it since his main problem was the alcholism, and he died following complications of a hip surgery after breaking it on a fall. So it made no sense for her/he on doing this. TheBellaTwins1445 (talk) 00:16, 19 March 2022 (UTC)
- Update 2, response from ItsKesha after she reverted my approaching to him/her - [23] "you said all articles were like that, I found one instantly that proved you wrong, go away" the article she provided me with was this - Kirk Douglas, which actually has his own "Personal life", and "Death" sextion separated as seen Personal life, Health problems and death maybe she provided me with this because of the section saying "Health problems", which could of been translated to "Illness and death" used in articles such as José José - Illness and death, or Edith González, Illness and death. And yet again, the health problems of Scott Hall had nothing to do with his death. I could of just left this situation behind, but what he or she did was to send me an "edit warring" thing without even trying to investigate a little bit further, which may cause Wikipedia to lose faith on me or thinking I am doing bad-faith edits, which I am not doing. I do not feel this correct from the part of the user, and for what I could see on his/her talk page, she is an user doing this edit warrings most of the time. I woould not like to stay with cross arms watching how she/he discredits me as an editor. Greetings fella, I await for some feedback. TheBellaTwins1445 (talk) 00:35, 19 March 2022 (UTC)

Hi Bonadea. Thanks a lot for reviewing this article. However it was reviewed and reinstated earlier after meeting Wikipedia policies as the article is needed as iinformative platform for raising consumer complaints. Request you to revert your earlier comments. Thanking in advance. Gardenkur (talk) 01:04, 27 March 2022 (UTC)

You moved it back to mainspace yourself with minimal changes, ignoring the information from the admin who restored it. Heartfulness – Experience Life’s Potential(HELP)
Hi Bonadea. Thanks for your time and efforts for reviewing this article. However as I checked all the secondary sources and observed that they meet Wikipedia policies for having them in this article . Request you to suggest suitable additions to make improve it for the main space. Thanks in advance. Gardenkur (talk) 01:16, 27 March 2022 (UTC)
- Which secondary sources, and which policy? It is against Wikipedia policy to make the kind of claims that were in the article before I edited it down. There are no secondary sources in the draft, and no independent sources – just two press releases and a journal article by an author affiliated with the organisation, who interviewed heartfulness practitioners and found that they all thought heartfulness was good. The sources I removed were multiple copies of one of the two PRs in the draft, and another PR which only mentioned the programme in passing. It could possibly be mentioned in the article about Shri Ram Chandra Mission if there was an independent and secondary source, but there is no sign of it being independently notable. I am getting pretty tired of the heartfulness institute trying to use Wikipedia as a marketing / proselytising tool. --bonadea contributions talk 09:51, 27 March 2022 (UTC)
Hi Bonadea. Thanks for your reply. Really appreciate of your time and efforts to improve this article and will be thankful. However will share below points as my opinion on this article.
1. I write articles to promote Wikipedia platform in public and all of them are not related to any particular organisation.
2. The programme in special I observed was being conducted across India and some countries.
3. It has really helped students in removing stress and pressure.
4. I dont know the history of Heartfulness or Shri Ram Chandra Mission either as Organisations or they using Wikipedia as marketing / proselytising tool.
As I gave considerable time and efforts building this article I hope you will help me to share suggestions to get this to main space. Thanking you in advance. Gardenkur (talk) 02:25, 29 March 2022 (UTC)
Hi Bonadea. Hope you are keeping well. I added two more references to the article to make it notable as per Wikipedia policies. Kindly review and share your opinion. Thanks in advance. Gardenkur (talk) 06:50, 2 April 2022 (UTC)
- Hello Gardenkur, thank you for your message. In this edit you added a misleading statement ("A study conducted showed that Heartfulness Experience of Life's potential programme has positive impact on students"). The authors of the study are practitioners of heartfulness meditation, and the article was published in a predatory journal.
- The source you included, [24], is a press release from the Heartfulness institute. Press releases are not independent, not secondary, and do not indicate notability. Besides, that press release was already in the article, published by a different outlet, [25], and the version you added had already been removed from the draft, together with several other copies of the same press release. A press release is produced by an organisation and is usually sent to a number of publications, or to a central news agency which other publications can then reprint. And a press release published in multiple places is still only one source. The source you added today, [26], is also a copy of that same press release, and you added it after a claim that already had a source, and was not verified by the source you added. So I'm afraid nothing has changed – the programme is still not shown to be notable. I replaced the copy of the PR that was in the draft with the copy you added today, which was published a few days earlier. --bonadea contributions talk 10:14, 2 April 2022 (UTC)
Hi Bonadea. Thanks for your reply. As lot of efforts goes in preparing any article, hence request you to keep me guiding on making an article complete with reliable and independent secondary sources. Will get back whenever I add more references. Gardenkur (talk) 04:09, 3 April 2022 (UTC)
Hi Bonadea. Thanks for your reply. Hope you are well. Is there a way to find out that the authors of this study are practitioners of Heartfulness meditation and it was published in predatory journal. Can you guide me how can we make out from published articles, if they are press releases. Additionally how this published article came from same press release.
Would like to learn from your long time experience in Wikipedia. Thanks in advance. Gardenkur (talk) 01:29, 4 April 2022 (UTC)
- It is trivially easy to see that [27], [28], and [29] are identical. Surely you must have seen that the text, images, and even the headline are the same in the PNI and biznewsconnect sources? The UNI source uses slightly different phrasing but the content is 100% identical – and UNI, like PNI, is a news agency, their entire business model is to publish press releases.
- The International Journal of Current Research is listed in Beall's List and discussed in this paper and this list (which is more recent than either of the others). And none of the authors tries to hide their affiliation with the heartfulness foundation. The paper is not quite as horribly unscientific as the paper from Research Reinforcement. that's already cited in the draft – that one raises a lot of red flags. But the IJCR paper does not show that the programme has "a positive impact" on students. --bonadea contributions talk 18:21, 4 April 2022 (UTC)
- Let me be clear: there is not the slightest trace of independent, secondary sources talking about the programme in detail. I suggest that you stop trying to create an article about it. --bonadea contributions talk 18:21, 4 April 2022 (UTC)
Hi Bonadea. Hope you are keeping well. I have added few more secondary sources in this article. I have been working on this and other articles in my draft space to move them to main space as per Wikipedia policies. Request you to kindly review and guide me accordingly. Thanking you in advance. - I already explained what the issues are. The tone is promotional – it's not a question of a few isolated expressions or sentences, but of the overall style of the text. The sources are for the most part interviews and other non-secondary sources, with no independent in-depth coverage. I also want to ask again about your use of "we" and "us". What is your connection to Sagar Informatics Pvt. Ltd, the online marketing company that showcases Sujata Parashar's website on its "portfolio" page? Jolly Joe Timmer Article Question
Joe died in 2015, therefore it is impossible to be an advertisement. His businesses are either shuttered or sold off. I disagree, respectfully, with your decision to not allow this post. It is supported by newspaper sources and he was a major personality in the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania who has a legacy that will last for decades. It would be appropriate for him to have a page on wikipedia that can be hooked into Lehigh Valley related pages. I would also like guidance as to what you feel is inappropriately written. Having been in journalism for twenty years, I see nothing wrong with the piece. It is entirely factual and supporting wording to describe his impact in the community is important to the piece. - I don't believe a "Further reading" section should list self-published sources unless there is a particularly strong reason to do so; even though WP:SPS doesn't say anything about Further reading, it makes no sense to me to include an entry that would be clearly inappropriate as a source. If you think that the essay adds anything to the rest of the FR entries, the onus is on you to make the case for it on the article talk page, as you know. I don't see it, after reading the essay, but YMMV. Anna Faktorovich herself provided plenty of evidence that she has no expertise in literary criticism or analysis, or any related field, when she attempted to promote her personal belief about the Shakespeare authorship question: discussions here (Drmies' analysis in particular is relevant, as is AF's responses), here, and here. --bonadea contributions talk 12:38, 1 May 2022 (UTC)

Hey! Just to let you know I reviewed Template:Did you know nominations/Anne Gunn. It pretty much passes, but it does rather understate her achievement as written: She wasn't just the first to get a British patent on a musical board game, she was the first to get a patent on any board game whatsoever according to the source. Regarding content at Souhardya De
Dear Bonadea,
I have found the talk page message you left for me when I opened Wikipedia today morning. I do not understand the logic behind your aggression. I have repeatedly told you that I'm a photojournalist based out of West Bengal and I primarily create and edit pages with Bengali links. Yet, you threaten to block me from editing on Wikipedia (okay let's leave that as it is). Now, when it comes to the content on the page above, here are certain 'independent' and I believe, very much 'reliable' sources:
1. That the subject is an FRAS: https://www.ndtv.com/education/republic-day-2021-meet-rashtriya-bal-puraskar-winners (NDTV - source date 2021). This is neither an interview with the subject, nor does NDTV do independent press releases, explaining why it deserves to be classified as an independent, reliable news source.
2. Coming to the second point, which is the subject's association with the Ministry of Education on a project for some Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav programme, please find the links here: a. https://www.nbtindia.gov.in/writereaddata/attachmentNews/saturday-december-25-20212-09-34-pmresults-of-all-india-contest-of-pm-yuva-mentorship-shceme.pdf b. https://pib.gov.in/PressReleasePage.aspx?PRID=1811451 This is a project of national importance, and was launched in late August, 2021. Results were declared in December, 2021 but I only came across that in March or April 2022. I do not understand why it doesn't form an important source. The links given are both those of the Government of India's and I do not know what could be more reliable. This is not a primary reference to anything, for your information.
I will not edit these unless you give me your opinion and on what you think the sources above (NDTV, NBT and PBI) are promotional and/or have published a press release whatsoever. It'd be really really great if you could enlighten me on these aspects for I am very much willing to learn editing on Wikipedia!

Hi,
I recently came across an update detailing on the death of Jyoti Kumari's father Mohan Paswan on India Today (https://www.indiatoday.in/india/story/father-of-bihar-s-cycle-girl-jyoti-kumari-dies-of-cardiac-arrest-1809105-2021-05-31). Could you please let me know if I could add this to the article or not? Does a father's death impact much about the article? If yes, I will. But I don't feel a father;s death has anything major to do with the subject, except for the fact that she's famed for having saved her father's life in 2021.

Submission declined: Advertisement & Reference
Hi Bonadea, may I know which part of the article I need to improve on? It was previously declined for the same reason but I have removed sentences that were previously highlighted as an advertisement. Do advise and I'll make the necessary changes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jasvind Singh (talk • contribs) 18:38, 22 May 2022 (UTC)
- @Jasvind Singh: thank you for your message. It is not an issue that affects any specific part of the article – it's the entire text. When you asked about the previous decline here, you were given a few examples of inappropriate expressions and sentences, and it looks like you removed those specific instances but left everything else as it was. Note, however, that it doesn't matter how neutral the writing is as long as there is no indication of notability for the company – you have already been directed to read WP:NCORP, a notability guideline that is essential reading if you want to create a Wikipedia article about a company. All the draft says is that this is a "tech-enabled coffee chain" (whatever that is when it is at home), with a paragraph on funding and a list of store openings. The section WP:CORPDEPTH, which is part of the guideline I linked above, includes the sub-section "Examples of trivial coverage" which explains that such information doesn't indicate notability for a company. The information can perhaps be included – well, not the funding stuff since that's almost invariably irrelevant. But if there's independent coverage, not press releases, about store openings, that's something that could be in the article. But the draft can only be accepted if there is an actual claim to notability. --bonadea contributions talk 19:18, 22 May 2022 (UTC)
New Page Patrol newsletter May 2022
Hello Bonadea,
At the time of the last newsletter (No.26, September 2021), the backlog was 'only' just over 6,000 articles. In the past six months, the backlog has reached nearly 16,000, a staggering level not seen in several years. A very small number of users had been doing the vast majority of the reviews. Due to "burn-out", we have recently lost most of this effort. Furthermore, several reviewers have been stripped of the user right for abuse of privilege and the articles they patrolled were put back in the queue.
Several discussions on the state of the process have taken place on the talk page, but there has been no action to make any changes. The project also lacks coordination since the "position" is vacant.
In the last 30 days, only 100 reviewers have made more than 8 patrols and only 50 have averaged one review a day. There are currently 736 New Page Reviewers, but about a third have not had any activity in the past month. All 1034 administrators have this permission, but only about a dozen significantly contribute to NPP.
This means we have an active pool of about 450 to address the backlog. We cannot rely on a few to do most of the work as that inevitably leads to burnout. A fairly experienced reviewer can usually do a review in a few minutes. If every active reviewer would patrol just one article per day, the backlog would very quickly disappear.
If you have noticed a user with a good understanding of Wikipedia notability and deletion, do suggest they help the effort by placing {{subst:NPR invite}}
on their talk page.
If you are no longer very active on Wikipedia or you no longer wish to be part of the New Page Reviewer user group, please consider asking any admin to remove you from the list. This will enable NPP to have a better overview of its performance and what improvements need to be made to the process and its software.
To opt-out of future mailings, please remove yourself here.

Dear Senior Editor, I remember you were part of the discussions on Alha, Udal of Mahoba, and one more page. It was discussed extensively and was decided as per closing comments of another senior editor. The pages definitely had stable version after it including all the relevant references. I think the pages should remain to that stable versions. There was literally no dispute until new SPAs jumped with disruptive editing. I think the page should also have protection. DreamHavenBooks
Just read over your edits--there's a line here between reasonable cuts and quantifying material as "promotional." The revisions you made to the opening paragraph were great, I wasn't sure how to write this part without being "promotional," which was why I resorted to using a citation to enumerate the store's stock.
But cutting down the historical parts, and removing the characterful headings, does not make for better history.
I appreciate caution as a new article is proposed or moved to mainspace, but the independent bookstore, and particularly the independent genre bookstore, like Science fiction, fantasy and horror bookstores is a particular, and passing, piece of Americana. You may not be aware, but Neil Gaiman in particular is an important, if not critical, figure in this scene (along with George R.R. Martin, as the sf & f scene has moved from the *frowsy* 1970 through the period when Gaiman, in particular, made at least some sf & F *cool* through to the commercialized present.
Wikipedia is about laying the groundwork for the researchers who will be writing the articles of the future. Most of the writers listed in the "early years" section of Dreamhaven's history are dead, but they are also regarded as among the "greats" in the field. Some researcher of the future is going to call up Wikipedia and scratch their head, wondering "what year did Harlan Ellison sign at Dreamhaven?" or, twenty years (or whatever) from now, "When did Neil Gaiman start becoming a cult phenomenon?" *That's* when a page on Dreamhaven is going to be valuable.
Again, I appreciate the work you have put in here. But let's find a balance.
Thanks for the attention-- Sicklemoon (talk) 14:57, 26 May 2022 (UTC)
- I am familiar with the bookshop in question – you may not know this, but it is very well known in fandom (not as "Americana" which doesn't seem to be a particularly relevant descriptor). I hope you realise how patronising your comments about Neil Gaiman and GRRM are, but there is no point dwelling on that.
- Wikipedia articles are not the basis for research, now or in the future; they are – or should be – summaries of what other, independent, publications have already said about a topic. As sff fans, we have a responsibility to present genre related topics in a very neutral fashion if we write about them in Wikipedia. Including multiple long quotes comes across as promotional. Creative section headings can be ok, but they still have to be descriptive. Regards, --bonadea contributions talk 15:36, 26 May 2022 (UTC)
- A patronizing tone was not my intention. I had no reason to know that the reviewing editor working over my article was familiar with Dreamhaven or genre bookstores in America or SF & F in general, thus my preambulatory comment: "you may not be aware." Is there some politer, Wikipedia-senior-editor approved way I should have stated that?
- I have had articles cut down, questioned, or sent back to draft space here on Wikipedia, either because a reviewing editor was being quick with their work, or because they did not immediately understand terminology or necessary context--or because I had made some sort of error. After checking in with those editors, it has seldom been hard to find a balance that seemed to suit both sides. The process of correction is, or should be, impersonal. VERY LITTLE about your response to my check in with you was impersonal.
- Your point about fandom: "As sff fans, we have a responsibility to present genre related topics in a very neutral fashion." (emphasis mine) Excuse me?
- The content of the original draft of the (not MY) Dreamhaven article is taken from published, and (by my judgment) reputable, sources. In a future draft, I would hope to see the article responsibly filled out in the three areas of the store's history, showing the store's significance in that historical context. Is this not the purpose of "developing" articles through the stages of stub to "A" class, or at least higher-class, articles? Perhaps *you* are editing as a "sff" fan, but it is not *my* intention to write as one. It is my intention to write a well-supported piece, adequately structured, and perhaps with sign-posts, to encourage some future editor to add and improve.
- You write: "I am familiar with the bookshop in question – you may not know this, but it is very well known in fandom."
- Perhaps you should not have been the one to review this article, as it would appear that you have a personal stake in the content. Given that you are familiar with the store, your editorial comment on the article itself "Seems notable enough to stay in mainspace – might need a closer source check though" reads as *highly* disingenuous.
- As a relatively new Wikipedia editor, I am becoming increasingly aware of what it's like to fall (by innocent accident) into a powerful, more established editor's balliwick, and to get spanked because you're/one is (edit) not developing an article to some mysteriously pre-established model of how to write in that area. I can accept that there are reason beyond my ken for deletions, compressions, rearrangement. But your corrections and your tone here smack of something more than that. This Dreamhaven bookstore article is a generic piece, based on my looking at other mainspace Wikipedia bookstore pages to see what kinds of material have previously been regarded as acceptable. If there is some other criteria at work here, please let me know.
- (BTW, we have different ideas of Americana but I think, post "American Gods," there would be published material in reliable sources to support my sense of that term's "drift", and perhaps even merit an update to, or expansion of, the topic as it is currently described on its Wikipedia page)
P.S. I also updated Dreamhaven Press while I worked on the store article. A question--I sourced that from the Dreamhaven titles on Abebooks. What is actually the Wikipedia-approved way to mention in-print/print titles? Citing Abebooks seemed like I'd be promoting Abebooks.

Can you please explain the exact issue in it and how it is promotional? 2409:4052:2E8C:B62A:B100:48BC:33FD:44BD (talk) 07:54, 9 June 2022 (UTC)
- Well, there are multiple problems, not least that the company has been engaging in attempts to use Wikipedia as a marketing platform for years. The stated reasons for declining the draft was that it doesn't show how the company is notable (see these guidelines), and that it is promotionally written. A previous discussion on the draft's talk page ended in a rough consensus that PharmEasy is probably notable – but the current draft does nothing to show that, and given the spamming issues, it's not strange that the volunteer reviewers want to see strong indications of notability and a very neutrally written text.
- Looking at the current draft, some of the issues are
- that the first three sentences have an abundance of sources, much more than necessary to verify the minimum of facts – sources are there to verify the information in the article, and (to take an example) you don't need three different sources to verify the simple statement that they are located in Mumbai
- that the second and third sentence say almost exactly the same thing, with multiple sources, which comes across as promotional (as well as redundant)
- that the rest of the draft has only one source which is an entry in a list of resources, and which supports almost none of the content, so overall the draft suffers from both too many and too few sources
- that not all of the sources meet the requirements for reliable sources
- that most of the sources are not presented in a useful format – for instance "Frost Research Link" and "PharmEasy analysymason Link" contain almost none of the necessary information. A reference has to identify the source clearly, tell the reader what kind of source it is, and give enough information for the reader to be able to find the source themselves. WP:CITEHOW has more info on what a reference should include. --bonadea contributions talk 13:28, 9 June 2022 (UTC)

About "Teenage pregnancy in fiction"
Hi, I was talking about my page you moved to draft space, Teenage pregnancy in fiction. I know it says indiscriminate list with a poorly written and unsourced introduction, but Teenage Pregnancy in Wikipedia is the only page that I found, but not in fiction because of a lack of sourcable websites or something. There's a TV Trope website over there, which includes "Teen Pregnancy". If not, I'm not really sure. Can you explain this? Or should I re-edit the whole thing like this one, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maternal_mortality_in_fiction It's a good thing if you can or someone can help my page Fortunewriter (talk) 15:31, 13 June 2022 (UTC)
- Maternal mortality in fiction is not a good article to use as a model, because it is largely unsourced and has almost no actual content except for the list of works. Look instead at Parallel universes in fiction; as the maintenance templates there say, it also has problems, but at least it is an encyclopedia article and not just a list of works picked without any clear rationale. An article about the concept of teenage pregnancy in fiction will need to be based on reliable scholarly sources (not newspaper articles or other non-scholarly works, and definitely not TV Tropes which is just a wiki), and it should discuss the concept of teenage pregnancy and how it is treated in different kinds of fiction, in different languages and cultures, and perhaps also through history. A list of works is the least important part of such an article. --bonadea contributions talk 16:06, 13 June 2022 (UTC)
- So I renamed from "Teenage pregnancy in fiction" to "List of fictional characters featuring teenage pregnancy" for good, because I was wrong about the title and it does not given some history or notable works about teenage pregnancy. Just a list of example or works or whatever is, like this one List of autistic fictional characters. There will be chance. Fortunewriter (talk) 02:26, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
Have you cross checked the evidence (The Series) and sources?
Hi,
I want a Fair consensus , on the edits on West ta East, I have and am one who has paid and continues to pay a membership fee on YouTube to watch the show and use that as my understanding when making edits BUT the facts I bring from there main SOURCES such as ABC News, which you have not clearly read and are being adamant on knowing the show better than the fans and a loyal viewer who pays a Gold Membership fee on YouTube to watch it BEFORE you make another edit on this show, Kindly go WATCH and pay for it. it seeming very biased and ignorant & I ask people to judge fairly and undo the edits which @Bonedea has done. Thank you, Stay Blessed.123.208.65.230 (talk) 19:58, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
- Again, Wikipedia articles are based on secondary sources, not on what individual editors know based on their own experience. Again, articles in English Wikipedia are written in English. Again, random bold text is against the Manual of Style. Again, Wikipedia cannot be used to promote anything. --bonadea contributions talk 20:01, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
Hi,
I wanted to clarify, why did you write that the two siblings move to Afghanistan, when no sources state that? are you personally connected to the subject? just a curious question, Please clarify? I read the sources and it is not mentioned but if you're connected to the subject, then makes sense! ( in regards to West TA East)123.208.65.230 (talk) 18:39, 15 June 2022 (UTC)
- All the sources say that the show is about them moving to Afghanistan, which is why the Wikipedia article also says so. Please read the response in the discussion you started at Talk:West Ta East. --bonadea contributions talk 19:45, 15 June 2022 (UTC)
Brett H. Coulter Draft
Hi Bonadea,
My name is Ethan, and I am a graduate student at St. Johns university in Queens. I recently attempted creating an article for one of the directors of the firm I am currently an intern at because I have to write a report on a mentor from my job. I choose Mr. Coulter and asked him to participate in an interview because he is very experienced and does the same investing as I. I am sorry for phrasing the article in a biased manner I do look up to Brett after my interview and I understand that some information may have suggested I could be him. I am not. But a lot of my classmates interviewed men already on wikipedia such as Howard Marks (investor) and I would like to create a page for Brett for educational and reference purposes I am not being compensated even for my internship lol. — Preceding unsigned comment added by SJUstudenteditor (talk • contribs) 08:07, 16 June 2022 (UTC)
