Short description imports
I noticed you've imported some short descriptions from Wikidata on several chess articles. As described at Wikipedia:Short description, a short description shouldn't be longer than 40 characters or so. Per WP:SDCONTENT, Wikidata descriptions may sometimes be appropriate, but often they are too long or too technical ... It is the responsibility of the editor to ensure that the short description is appropriate, accurate, and compliant with Wikipedia content policies.
Many of the ones you've added are too long to even be displayed by the search dropdowns. As an example, on Block (chess), rather than "Defensive tactic in chess in response to an attack, consisting of interposing a piece between the opponent's attacking piece and the piece being attacked", the description "Chess tactic" is more than sufficient. Speedy deletion declined: Kingdom of Awsan
Hello Thepharoah17. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Kingdom of Awsan, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Given that the purported copyright notice of the bottom of https://almoheet.net/yemeni-old-civilizations/ webpage claims "All rights reserved © 2021" (in Arabic) and this article was started in 2004, it would appear more likely that the website copied the Wikipedia article, not the other way around. Thank you. Shirt58 (talk) 08:57, 7 August 2021 (UTC)

Salem Ali Qatan
I added some references to Salem Ali Qatan, including the year and place of birth. Generals are usually notable. You may want to revisit Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Salem Ali Qatan, as I think that notability has now been established. Eastmain (talk • contribs) 03:50, 12 August 2021 (UTC)

Tagging pages for speedy deletion
Hello, Thepharoah17,
Please review WP:G5, G5 only applies if there are no substantial edits to the page by other editors besides the blocked sockpuppet. In many of the articles you have tagged for deletion, other editors have contributed to the article. Liz Read! Talk! 05:10, 11 September 2021 (UTC)
Tagging pages for PROD
Please be mindful that PROD is only for non-controversial deletions. I've recently deprodded several pages you tagged which made strong notability claims. One of the subjects even had a biography in a national encyclopedia. Please remember to follow WP:BEFORE and, if you imagine that any editor might object to the deletion, use AFD instead of PROD. pburka (talk) 14:00, 2 October 2021 (UTC)
- Hello, Thepharoah17,
- Several of the pages of Canadian broadcasters/journalists that you tagged for PROD have been restored upon request. I agree that doing a review of WP:BEFORE before doing any more PROD tagging would be beneficial. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 23:45, 5 October 2021 (UTC)
AFD Closure
Hey, I partially vacated your closure of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sami Jasim Muhammad al-Jaburi. You nominated it and somebody else supported deletion. That technically makes it ineligible for a "speedy keep" result, even if you withdrew your nomination. Also, it's not a "speedy keep" if you're going to boldly redirect the article. The combination of those things pushes it toward WP:BADNAC but individually those are both the right result. So I re-closed the AFD (ironically, as a non-admin anyway) and clarified that it had been redirected. Hope that all makes sense! Cheers, St★lwart111 02:37, 6 October 2021 (UTC)
Tueni family
About Tueni page. The names you mentioned in the list are not related to or are not relatives of the Tueni family of Beirut nor of prominent families of Beirut like Sursock Bustros, etc.. You mentioned people who are not related to the prominent families. In the State Civil registry of Beirut, they don't even have records that say they are of Tueni family or relatives. So please rectify. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 46.227.255.13 (talk) 11:34, 24 October 2021 (UTC)
Egyptian Armed Forces
Please read Wikipedia's verifiability policy and stop edit warring. Every claim on Wikipedia must be verifiable, meaning every claim must be backed up by reliable sources. Your source doesn't belong in your edit summary, it belongs in the article. If you change information in the infobox, your change has to be cited somewhere in the article, which it currently isn't. In fact, the person you removed as Lieutenant General is still cited in the lead. If you have a reliable source backing up your change, please incorporate the information into the article body and cite your source. Thank you. Throast (talk | contribs) 21:26, 27 October 2021 (UTC)
Categories
Hello, again, Thepharoah17,
Just a reminder that if you believe a category should be deleted, merged or renamed, please nominate it for a proposed action at Categories for Discussion, do not empty a category "out of process". When you simply empty a category of its contents, it can be difficult to undo since category contents are dynamic and there is no permanent record of what pages categories use to contain once they have been removed. It can also help things to have a discussion with other editors if this is a substantial recategorization of a subject matter and then the category bot can do all of the work of recategorizing pages.
If you are wondering what this is in reference to, it's all of the Muslim activists categories that were deleted today. Thank you! Liz Read! Talk! 20:09, 15 November 2021 (UTC)
