Welcome to my userpage! My sole purpose here is to help my fellow Wikipedians. If I can assist you in any way, leave me a note on my talk page! These days I stick mostly to routine administrative work, but I'm happy to help out in any area of the encyclopedia.
Before emailing me, please note, that while I am open to emails, I will generally not consider or respond to emails challenging or appealing administrative actions. In the interest of transparency and accountability, any such communications should be made on-wiki so the community can review the situation as necessary.
If you are blocked, you may email me to direct my attention to an on-wiki statement or unblock request. If I have revoked your talk page access, you may email me to request that your talk page access be reinstated for the sole purpose of submitting an on-wiki unblock request in good faith. If you need to share private information that cannot be posted on-wiki, you should absolutely email me. However, outside of these situations, whether you are a sanctioned or involved user who wishes to challenge an administrative action, or an uninvolved user who wishes to provide feedback in good faith, you should leave a message on my talk page instead. Thank you.
I believe I am the only administrator in history to clear the AN/I backlog. This was a result of eight straight hours of nothing but handling AN/I reports, and was done in one sitting. Most amazingly, this marathon proved uncontentious; there was not a single objection raised in response to my handling of any report.
The subsequent lack of drama on the drama board was too much for the community to bear, and resulted in a meta-drama about the lack of drama at AN/I. The outburst was quelled by my sardonic addition of a new rule in the AN/I instructions, which remains in place to this day.
My personal views on civility? I think that every. single. person. who shows a consistent inability to be civil should get a kick out the door, I don't care if it's an IP editor, a long-term content contributor, Randy from Boise, or a member of ArbCom. Does this mean that some very good content contributors will be gone? Yep... I guess it does. But that's the beauty of collaboration! Nobody here is irreplaceable. Without that individual, there WILL be articles that aren't written or improved as quickly, but they eventually will be... by someone able to keep their mental issues in check. I have nothing more to say on the matter. Good day.
