Perhaps you didn't notice the *six edits I did to the above article very recently? So far from 'drive-by' tagging, I've been busy with that article. Have a nice day Billsmith60 (talk) 10:57, 17 May 2022 (UTC)
Erin McGreehan edit.
I didn't appreciate your extremely rude comment about my recent edit to the Wikipedia article about Senator Erin McGreehan. I thought we are meant to have some decorum as Wikipedia editors. You obviously have absolutely no decorum, using language like that. Laggan Boy (talk) 11:50, 17 May 2022 (UTC)

Just wondering why you reverted my edit of Local government in the Republic of Ireland? The edit was in accordance with WP:IMOS and MS:FIRST only says it should be the page title, not must, and may appear in a slightly different form. Cashew.wheel (talk) 07:18, 24 May 2022 (UTC):
- It's better that the intro matches the article title. If you feel that strongly, then please start a discussion on the article's talk page. Spleodrach (talk) 21:47, 24 May 2022 (UTC)
European Parliaments pre-Brexit and Irish republican legitimist Dáils
The first Dáil's membership was drawn from the UK Parliament elected in 1918, which had constituencies representing the entire Island of Ireland and places outside it (in this case, Great Britain). The European Parliament pre-Brexit also had constituencies representing the entire Island of Ireland and places outside it (in this case, Great Britain + other EU member states at the time). So if a pre-Irish Independence UK Parliament was "good enough for a Dáil", then the European Parliament pre-Brexit would theoretically be "good enough for a Dáil" from a legitimist POV as well. Revert: Fine Gael
Hi, I see you've reverted my edit to the Fine Gael infobox twice based on "FG is not organised in NI only ROI". That is correct, Fine Gael are not active in Northern Ireland.
However the article doesn't mention Northern Ireland nor the island of Ireland in the same context (of the opening paragraph or infobox), therefore the MOS from WP:IRE-IRL applies here.
- "Use 'Ireland' for the state except where the island of Ireland or Northern Ireland is being discussed in the same context." Cashew.wheel (talk) 08:57, 8 August 2022 (UTC)
- @Cashew.wheel: WP:IRE-IRL does not apply here. By using Ireland in the infobox, you are causing it to point to the incorrect articles, i.e. Politics of Ireland, rather than Politics of the Republic of Ireland. WP:IRE-IRL is for text in the main article not in infoboxes, where different articles are pointed to depending on the input of the field. Spleodrach (talk) 11:28, 8 August 2022 (UTC)
- {{Infobox political party}} includes the "country_dab1" property for that specific purpose. Cashew.wheel (talk) 09:24, 11 August 2022 (UTC)
- @Cashew.wheel: I have updated the article with dabs. Spleodrach (talk) 16:39, 11 August 2022 (UTC)
