St Matthias Islands RM closure
In your closure, you cite WP:TITLEVAR, but as I note in the discussion, that doesn't apply because both forms are used in British English. As such, with only 2 editors for and 2 against the move, I would like you to reopen and relist this discussion so that a consensus has a chance to form as to what the title of this article should be. Rreagan007 (talk) 22:52, 28 April 2022 (UTC)
- Both forms being acceptable isn't a valid reason to move a page; see also WP:TITLECHANGES. Where the discussion was open for 2+ weeks already, I don't believe a relist is appropriate. Calidum 02:27, 29 April 2022 (UTC)
- But the fact that both forms are acceptable means that WP:TITLEVAR doesn't apply, and that was your only justification you gave for closing the discussion the way you did, so your closing is inadequate. Would you like to try amending your closure to something a little more thoughtful and appropriate, addressing the relevant points made in favor of the move? Rreagan007 (talk) 04:56, 29 April 2022 (UTC)
- Done. Calidum 13:27, 29 April 2022 (UTC)

Elizabeth Olsen, Avengers: Endgame
Hey! I wanted to get clarity on this summary. Were you suggesting that BLPs of Endgame actors should include the film in the lead section? Or that BLPs that list MCU projects in the lead section should include Endgame? Either possibility doesn't seem appropriate because it would make it acceptable to indiscriminately list Olsen's every appearance. Tom Holland (a recent FA) and Chadwick Boseman (a recent GA) don't list Avengers films at all. Granted, Olsen's character is without a solo film, so I looked at another recent GA, Chris Evans (actor), which only lists non-Captain America films where he received star billing. While Endgame is very noteworthy on its own, the film isn't crucial in Olsen's career since it only credits her as appearing rather than one of its stars. Due to this, observing the three aforementioned articles as examples sounds appropriate. And did you mean to change back the Multiverse of Madness reception to "generally positive"? Thanks! KyleJoantalk 06:38, 7 May 2022 (UTC)
- In my opinion, it doesn't make sense to mention Civil War, Infinity War and Multiverse of Madness in the lead while excluding Endgame. If you want to use similar wording as Boseman and Holland's articles, that's fine. And the change to the wording about Multiverse of Madness was inadvertent. -- Vaulter 17:05, 7 May 2022 (UTC)
- The wording in Olsen's article is similar to that in Boseman's and Holland's, with the exception of the MCU films listed since there's no Scarlet Witch-titled film. Even if we limit the discussion's scope to only Avengers films, the distinction that makes excluding Endgame appropriate remains clear. Olsen was billed as a starring cast member in Age of Ultron and Infinity War and not Endgame.[1][2][3] Wouldn't including starring roles and excluding other appearances be the most appropriate (and simplest) standard? Imagine going into "but her first appearance was in Civil War", "but that was uncredited", "but her Endgame role was major", "but she didn't star", "but she was in the pivotal climax", "but she only appeared in two scenes", "but it's one of the biggest films of all time", "but the film's overall prominence shouldn't be considered more than its part in her career". KyleJoantalk 01:41, 8 May 2022 (UTC)
- Like I said, it's common sense to either list all of her appearances within the film franchise or list her as appearing in the franchise starting with Age of Ultron. She was in the film, regardless of where her name appears on the poster. -- Vaulter 03:24, 8 May 2022 (UTC)
- She first appeared in The Winter Soldier, which you've never proposed to include. I was wrong in writing
her first appearance was in Civil War
; I meant to say The Winter Soldier. When did you suggest listing all appearances? None of the three other articles does that, and I've never seen that done in any GA (older or recent), so I'm not sure it's suitable. Her name does not appear on the poster. That's been my point. KyleJoantalk 04:24, 8 May 2022 (UTC)

Reusing principles
I wanted to take a moment to thank you for submitting Principles from previous cases. Writing a new principle is, at least for me, a task which takes a lot of time relative to the number of words produced. As such as a drafter it's always my preference to re-use principles - especially because if they're a good principle they should be applicable in multiple situations. Submitting those in the workshop, rather than writing a new one, is genuinely helpful as I think about drafting the proposed decision. Thanks, Barkeep49 (talk) 17:01, 28 June 2022 (UTC)
