NBA deals
These (like Trendon Watford) need to be completed and officially announced before being updated on Wikipedia. Please wait until the Blazers or the NBA announce the deal. Thanks. Rikster2 (talk) 22:32, 31 July 2021 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Larry Hockett. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Larry Hockett (Talk) 23:25, 13 November 2021 (UTC)
Hugo Besson picture
Hi. Just in relation to the Hugo Besson picture you uploaded – what date was this picture taken? The image date of 27 June 2022 is obviously the upload date. Can you provide the actual date for better context? If that was from a "pre draft event", it would have to be before 23 June. Thanks. DaHuzyBru (talk) 03:32, 28 June 2022 (UTC)
- It was taken on June 22, the day before the draft in New York. XiNevett (talk) 03:38, 28 June 2022 (UTC)
Reliable sources
Hello, I noticed that you changed the height of Victor Wembanyama without giving any sources. Please note: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Reliable_sources Cheers. --Zamekrizeni (talk) 08:37, 28 June 2022 (UTC)

Anthony Black (basketball) moved to draftspace - Fails WP:NBASKETBALL
An article you recently created, Anthony Black (basketball), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 17:34, 28 June 2022 (UTC)

Moving drafts to mainspace too early
There is a by-product of doing this that you may be unaware of. If, instead of moving the article back to Draft:Anthony Black (basketball) I had chosen to send it to WP:AFD, something I had considered and which woudl have been valid to do, it woudl have been deleted (0.9 probability).
The problem then arises that creating an article for Black becomes more difficult, because the new version is compared with the deleted version. If it is not substantially different then it is vulnerable to speedy deletion. I'm pretty sure that this woudl not be what you wish to happen.
This athlete appears to be too early in their career to merit an article in Wikipedia. You may disagree. If you do it is up to you to prove that they are worthy of an article. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 17:41, 28 June 2022 (UTC)
- Oh, and creating two versions is a big no-no. It smacks of an attempt to game the system. Please never allow yourself to be vulnerable to an accusation of doing that 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 17:42, 28 June 2022 (UTC)
- I realized my mistake was that I considered him a college basketball player when the guidelines state that it is too early for me to do that. I’ve updated the draft, using Amari Bailey’s page as reference, alongside Keyonte George’s page. I’ve also added a section for an external link to his USA Basketball bio. I’ve resubmitted the draft for review. Thank you for the feedback. XiNevett (talk) 20:35, 28 June 2022 (UTC)
- Another reviewer will look at this. I almost never make a second review. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 22:50, 28 June 2022 (UTC)
