Smallchief is a family name dating from 1825 when an American Indian ancestor of that title signed a treaty with the United States. Smallchief creates and edits content about the Indians of the Americas and the Europeans who encountered them, World War II resistance movements, agricultural history, conservation and protected areas, the Vietnam War, China missionaries, refugees, and women's soccer.
Technologically speaking, Smallchief is rushing headlong into the 15th century. He is not disposed to attempt a great leap forward, but endeavors only to write good, clear prose which is neutral in tone and well-referenced. He writes because he likes to write.

For fantastic work creating Battle of Cottonwood which I just cleared through AfC. But it could have been awarded for any of dozens of other excellent articles, I think. Chiswick Chap (talk) 16:45, 12 January 2012 (UTC) |
