Eve Barlow, raised in Glasgow, Scotland, is an LA-based, music journalist, and former Deputy Editor of the NME.[1][2][3][4][5] She currently contributes to New York Magazine, The Guardian, the LA Times, Pitchfork, and GQ, among other publications. Barlow is also a Jewish activist who speaks out against antisemitism.[6][7][8][9][10]
Barlow is a close friend of actress Amber Heard. Barlow received notoriety because of her support of Heard during the Depp vs Heard Trial[11] and also for being barred from the trial's courtroom after texting and tweeting from the front row of the courtroom which was in violation of an order against the use of personal electronic devices.[12][13][14][15]
