Coriolis Effect
hello @SpiralSource, I recognized that you sent me the link to the article Coriolis effect (perception) where I comment the false reference to the Coriolis force (imho). I could only check the first of the 3 given sources and this one supports my opinion. So I think the other 2 sources will also show, that the coriolis effect has only to do with (active) head movements during (passive) rotation. Ok, passive rotation is the reason for coriolis force, but this force is not steady but only acts during linear movements, not while turning your head. greetings from germany --Dfedra (talk) 16:28, 15 January 2022 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for June 1
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Umbrellabird, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page El Oro. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:08, 1 June 2022 (UTC)
Curt Jaimungal moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Curt Jaimungal, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hello SpiralSource. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:SpiralSource. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=SpiralSource|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. PRAXIDICAE🌈 22:43, 18 June 2022 (UTC)
- @Praxidicae I am not, nor have I ever been, paid to edit Wikipedia. I find this allegation to be offensive, and possibly reflective of your political views.
- Furthermore, I have never heard of you before, and to my knowledge you are in no position to blackmail me into responding. You are not entitled to my engagement, and I do not owe you a response. I appreciate the effort you are making to curb these threats to our ecosystem of knowledge and to question good faith editors. Thanks as well for the advice provided for creating future articles, and for moving mine to a draftspace. SpiralSource (talk) SpiralSource (talk) 10:52, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
- Enlighten us then, how is this your own work but you have no connection to the subject? And what political views would those be that you're accusing me of having? PRAXIDICAE🌈 14:26, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
- @Praxidicae I decline to answer. End of interview. SpiralSource (talk) 14:45, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
- This isn't optional, part of our terms of use requires disclosure, so either you own the copyright and have a connection or you lied in the upload. Which one is it? PRAXIDICAE🌈 14:45, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
