Hello, and welcome to my talk page; how can I help you? Please put your new post at the bottom of the page, and if you are a new editor, please remember to sign it with 4 of these "~". If you are talking about an article, please blue link the title of it. Thanks.
I have been contributing since the summer of 2007, but there are many aspects of WP I know nothing or almost nothing about, so I am always interested in helpful suggestions. Thanks!

Fabulous work
I am sitting in your presentation at the Wiki NYC Conference. Fabulous work on gastropods. Thank you. :)--Jimbo Wales (talk) 21:01, 25 July 2009 (UTC)
Hi Susan!
Really nice to know you're here and looking out for our molluscs. Much better hands than mine. Well, my time as a contributor on Wikipedia was very short. I thought I'd help out the pretty sparse Wikipedia pages on some local nudibranchs, since that's where a lot of beginners turn to first for information, BUT it turned out I was really more of a menace than a help! Eeek, the pages got deleted, then restored, so embarassing! So after that experience I decided to leave contributing the text to my betters and just contribute a few photos. ;-) - Robin — Preceding unsigned comment added by ANudibranchMom (talk • contribs) 00:21, 14 July 2016 (UTC)
- I am sorry you had an unpleasant experience, but your heart was in the right place. There's lots of great work that you could do here without running afoul of the guidelines. I could even talk you through stuff on the phone if that would help. I should explain that I used to be very active on here, but now most of my time goes into iNaturalist. Hello there
Hey Susan, how have you been? I'll try and submit Amphidromus for a GA review. I'll be working on it in the next weeks, so feel free to join the battle =D --Daniel Cavallari (talk) 12:17, 6 July 2017 (UTC)
- Hello Daniel, It is always very nice to hear from you, and I am glad that you are OK. I am OK too, and I will do whatever I can to help with this GA process. Please remind me if I forget. I am currently working with Sylvia van Leeuwen, a Dutch citizen scientist. We are about to re-sumbit a big paper to the Dutch journal Vita Malacologica. The paper reports the marine mollusk results of the Caribbean expedition she and I went on 2 years ago, to the little island of Sint Eustatius. I think the paper will be accepted this time around, and I hope the peer reviewers do not demand too much extra work, as this paper has been quite a huge amount of work already. Anyway, best of luck with the GA -- it will not be nearly as difficult as an FA attempt. Best, Invertzoo (talk) 13:05, 6 July 2017 (UTC)
Chinese hat
Hello! Back in 2011 you created an redirect Chinese hat. I wanted to let you know I listed the redirect for discussion; your input is absolutely welcome if you have any interest. Thanks! --TeaDrinker (talk) 05:54, 5 January 2022 (UTC)
Long time no see!
Hello Susan,
I was checking WP today and wondered if you were still actively editing so came over to check your userpage. Really happy to see that you are still active here, I hope you are doing well. I haven't been since I started a fairly intense job 9 years ago but remember my time editing Gastropods fondly (still diving though!). I'll look you up if I ever make it your way :) Antarctic-adventurer (talk) 15:36, 6 January 2022 (UTC)
- Hi Alexander! Yes, I am still active but only in a minor way. And yes, if you get to be in or near NYC, let me know and we can meet up! Invertzoo (talk) 15:55, 6 January 2022 (UTC)
