Hi, requesting TE rights on behalf of JPxG in order to publish future editions of The Signpost. JPxG is an EiC of the publication, and I have full trust in their abilities. Cheers, 🐶 EpicPupper (he/him | talk) 17:44, 24 May 2022 (UTC)
- @JPxG: (a) do you want this? (b) Do you want it in general, or are you OK with limiting your scope to WP:SIGNPOST specific management? — xaosflux Talk 18:45, 24 May 2022 (UTC)
- Not done, this was discussed back in January, and it was decided that it made more sense to drop any protections necessary to ECP for Signpost-related pages. Primefac (talk) 10:21, 25 May 2022 (UTC)
- @EpicPupper do you have a list of these pages? — xaosflux Talk 14:06, 25 May 2022 (UTC)
- Wikipedia:Wikipedia Signpost/Issue was the only one, and it was lowered to ECP. This request can most likely be closed, unless JPxG still wants the right for non-Signpost purposes. 🐶 EpicPupper (he/him | talk) 16:14, 25 May 2022 (UTC)

- @Xaosflux: Well, one of the things we're planning to do soon is fix a bunch of internal Signpost templates, some of which are TE-protected, so this would save a lot of time and effort. jp×g 15:30, 27 May 2022 (UTC)
- @JPxG is it only these 2 pages (that have TE protection)? — xaosflux Talk 16:27, 27 May 2022 (UTC)
- Wikipedia:Wikipedia Signpost/Templates has a list, not sure if there's a way to check protected pages out of links out of there. 🐶 EpicPupper (he/him | talk) 03:01, 28 May 2022 (UTC)
- Those were what I could find protected now. If the previous issue has been resolved, i.e. the auto-TE-protection bot being programmed to never do its thing on Signpost subpages, then I don't really expect there to be any other issues. I guess the question of whether it makes sense to leave them unprotected solely for this purpose is up to you. jp×g 07:12, 29 May 2022 (UTC)
