Greetings. Thanks for dropping by my user page. I am Bloom6132, or "Bloom" for short. I made my first edit on Wikipedia on March 30, 2010 and have made more than 25,000 contributions since then. The majority of my contributions are focused towards baseball, cathedrals and churches, and (to a lesser extent) tennis and association football – but I edit just about any topic as reflected in my featured lists, good articles, DYKs, and ITNs. I am a four-time finalist of the WikiCup (2014, 2017, 2020–2021), and took semi-retirement hiatuses from editing in 2015–16 and in 2018–19.
I grew up in Vancouver, British Columbia, and I presently reside there. My sporting allegiances are to the Vancouver Canucks – my hometown team – the New York Yankees in baseball, Manchester United F.C. in football, and Roger Federer in tennis. Lastly (and most importantly), I always adhere to the Golden Rule when interacting with my fellow users, so I ask that you likewise do so. Cheers!

The 100 DYK Creation and Expansion Medal It seems that you have written 100 Did You Knows and no one has noticed. That can never be the case, thousands of people will have seen your DYKs and thousands will have read your work and know just a bit more about a Canadian rower, flags, archbishops and other stuff. You have improved the front page, the DYK project, and to top it all, helped to build an amazing free educational resource. So thanks - people notice.
