Featured portals in Wikipedia Until the featured portal process ceased in 2017, this page highlighted portals that had been designated as featured portals, which had been regarded as being particularly useful, attractive, and well-maintained. There were 173 portals that were at featured status when the process finished; the ones that remain are listed below. A small empty star () on the top right corner of a portal's page is now used to indicate that it was a featured portal at the time when the process ceased operation, instead of the small bronze star used to designate featured content in other parts of Wikipedia (featured articles, featured lists, etc). |
