Hi! My name is Chlod (/ˈklɑːd/). I'm a software developer specialized in web development languages (HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript - including Node and TypeScript) who sometimes does work on Java and C# as well. I'm working towards getting a software engineering course in the near future.
I've been on Wikipedia for a long time now, but I've only decided to be more active recently (patrolling recent changes since October 12, 2019). I'm really interested in anti-vandalism, grammar correction, and script building. I've made a few userscripts, and those can be found here, and I've made a few tools that interact with Wikipedia, or are made for Wikipedia, and they can be found here. I also volunteer as RedWarn's frontend developer, primarily in the upcoming React-based version. If you're into what else I make, feel free to have a glance at my GitHub.
If you'd like to have a chat, you can reach out to me on the Wikimedia Discord server as chlod#9493, or on my talk page. For matters that may be personal or private, you can talk to me through Discord or you can send me an email through Special:EmailUser or wikichlod.net. I'm always open to improvement on my editing skills and/or behavior.
If you plan to out me or any of my social media accounts (which, by all means, feel free to link to any of my social media profiles if it has something to do with Wikipedia), do note that I am already aware of my relatively exposed life, and you're probably not going to uncover any more than what I already know is on the internet.
This was created to ease copying into the Wikimedia Discord for second opinions from other editors. Please respect the Wikipedia license when using this script.
I have an alternate account used for testing: User:Chlod (test). Other than that account, I operate no other accounts on Wikipedia (aside from my Wikitech account, which is separate from SUL) and I never edit on an IP address intentionally.

I work on the article for the Pacific typhoon season articles by adding citations, archiving warnings from official sources, and general copyediting. I am also responsible for preventing the existence of {{cn span}} tags on any tropical system in the current Pacific typhoon system (as long as I was there when it was active.)
Nothing annoys this user more than when a teacher says that Wikipedia isn't reliable and that anybody can enter anything completely untrue that'll stay.

I am amazed on how quickly you included the solution for gracefully supporting the DS alerts template. You have made using WP:RW much more useful than it already was. Thank you. Walrus Ji (talk) 19:03, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
What a Brilliant Idea Barnstar
This is for the things we discussed off-wiki. I admitted that I am really careless for the past two months, which can be explained by stress I have when I'm in college as well as my duties with elevated privileges I have. I own up to all of these mistakes and will strive to further improvement. MarioJump83! 05:05, 7 April 2021 (UTC)
Not frequently asked questions but questions that you should read anyways
This is at the bottom so that you'd have to look for it to find it.

What wikis do you edit on?
I mostly edit on the EN wiki. I have very occasional Commons edits, and even more occasional edits on WikiNews. I am also learning other languages (due to my interest in Asian languages), so I might have extremely occasional edits on tlwiki, ilowiki, or jawiki.
When are you active?
On Discord and everything else? Most likely anytime from 00:00 to 18:00 UTC. On Wikipedia? It depends, but still somewhere in that window. I do have alerts for my talk page on my email and phone and alerts on my watched pages on both my phone and browser, so you might get my attention relatively easily.
Can you please make (x) for me?
I'll join projects I'm interested in myself. That being said, unless it's a user script (which I take requests for on my talk page) or related to Wikipedia, no, please do not ask me to make something for you.
Can you please edit (x) for me?
If it's simple copyreading, then definitely. But if you want me to write the entire page, please ask someone else, as I am not good at creative writing.
You reverted my edit! What for!?
I always try to be specific when issuing notices, but if you need more clarification, just bring it to my talk page so we can talk about your edits.
There's a bug with one of your userscripts/tools. Can you fix it?
Sure thing. Tell me what's the problem on my talk page and we'll talk about it.
Hey, I know you in real life!
Really? If you ever see me IRL, give me a high five or something. My name is pretty unique, so I'm really hard to miss.
Hey, where can I find your contact details/website?
Generally, you should avoid substantial content on your user page that is unrelated to Wikipedia. ... Unrelated content includes, but is not limited to: ... Extensive self-promotional material, especially when not directly relevant to Wikipedia.[1]
Get LOL'd.
I heard you were a democrat/republican/socialist/communist/fascist/whatever. I'm never talking to you again.
That's not a question? I don't care about your personal affiliation with politics or beliefs as long as you are not disrupting Wikipedia. If you can't display that same level of tolerance as me, you're entitled to your rights.
