I'm using ContentTranslation to create new articles or improve them on pt.wikipedia.org, where i'm an active user, but CTranslation doesn't allow me to use English as a bridge between languages: for example, some pages I would like to translate from Russian Wikipedia first to English and then to Portuguese (ru->en has better quality than ru->pt directly) but this isn't allowed without extend confirmed status here. I would appreciate if I can get EC to do that (also my history here is most on my test page that is used for for CTranslation work related). Message I got: "Translate page - On the English Wikipedia machine translation is disabled for all users and this tool is limited to extended confirmed editors (see WP:CXT)." PS: I'm not intending to publish here, rather using it as a bridge to pt.wiki only. MikutoH (talk) 01:55, 19 March 2021 (UTC)
