Jangansa moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Jangansa, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. It appears that this item has been returned to mainspace without much, if anything, in the way of improvement. There appear to be no sources and as such, and having previously been returned to draft for that reason the item may be liable to deletion unless sources can be added quite urgently. Wikipedia relies very much on reliable sources and articles which lack referencing are always going to be difficult to get accepted.
NB. The item has been tidied to be more in line with Wikipedia's coventions and / or the manual of style. Eagleash (talk) 11:10, 3 June 2021 (UTC)
Dear User: Eagleash. Articles about an obviously notable topic are ever kept. Nevertheless, have a good luck at AfD if you ever try ! Pldx1 (talk) 13:03, 3 June 2021 (UTC)
- Articles without citations are rarely kept. I could have sent the item to AfD especially in view of the 'move-warring' (also noted in the thread above) but I gave you the chance to add citations, which you have done (after a fashion). However these have not been added correctly and the page is still flagged at 'new page patrol' as having no citations. referencing for beginners might be something you could read up on? WP:IMGLOC may also be something you should take a look at. The images are vastly oversized; Wikipedia is not a picture book and images are not typically left-located. It will be up to the reviewers at Commons to decide whether the images actually are public domain. Eagleash (talk) 15:37, 3 June 2021 (UTC)
- Dear User: Eagleash. You seem annoyed by these pictures. You can ever check your luck and require their deletion at Commons. But, for your information, these images are there since 2013-02-07, with all the required copyright requirements. Concerning your remark about seniority, I remain amused: a newbie, being only there since 8 years, 7 months and 19 days lecturing someone who is here since 23 October 2009. Perhaps could you read up some more of the proverbial letter soup ? Pldx1 (talk) 16:11, 3 June 2021 (UTC)
- I am not annoyed by the images but they are however, misplaced, oversized and in contravention of WP:IMGLOC generally. I made no reference to seniority merely referred you to the guide to adding references as you seem to need to gen up on this. As you know seniority has no relevance on Wikipedia and length of service does not necessarily equate to useful contributions. Submitting a sub-standard article with basic errors does not reflect well on an editor generally, especially if it looks to experienced reviewers (who try to assist you), like the work of a 'newbie', as you put it. Finally I'd really rather appreciate it if we could consider this matter done with and move on. I have plenty of other new articles to consider. Eagleash (talk) 17:31, 3 June 2021 (UTC)
