America's Best Comics
Hi. Thanks for catching my error. One question, though: Did the first sentence of the next paragraph ("Moore announced that the imprint's 'universe'....") also come from that same book? Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 18:46, 10 October 2019 (UTC)
- Not quite. I'll add a c/e soon, but he does go into his interest in ending the line via an Apocalypse. There are other references I'll insert for the actual occurrence. -2pou (talk) 18:53, 10 October 2019 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of adaptations of works by Stephen King, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Rose Red (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Totally missed that you had a draft for CR's comics. Just wanted to let you know that I created a similar article here: Critical Role: Vox Machina Origins and another editor created Critical Role (disambiguation). If you're interested in CR articles, a few of us have been working on this: Draft:List of Critical Role episodes Sariel Xilo (talk) 22:31, 5 October 2020 (UTC)
- @Sariel Xilo: Good to know! That was actually just me experimenting with Redirects and Rcats before I put an entry at List of Dark Horse Comics publications since I was surprised to find it absent from the list when it seemed to be a book that was pretty popular. I'll directly retarget it. I admittedly haven't read it myself, but it seemed intriguing, and a lower bar to entry than the show with hours upon hours of existing content. I'll give your page a look. -2pou (talk) 22:43, 5 October 2020 (UTC)
- Cool! The length of the show can be daunting - I think the animated show will be much easier for people. I only got around to reading the comic because it finally hit my library's Overdrive (although it also appears to be on Hoopla if your library uses that). Removing links on disambiguation pages
Please do not simply remove the only link on a disambiguation page entry. If there is no navigable link available, then the whole entry should be deleted. Thanks for doing cleanup work! -- Fyrael (talk) 18:56, 9 April 2020 (UTC)
- @Fyrael:Thanks for the notice. May I ask what particular disambiguation page I did that for? I can go back and PROD that or see if there's an applicable CSD. I wasn't checking individual pages specifically. Most of those recent link removals were scripted for all pages linking to the deleted page. I tried to deselect the one's that had a clear parenthetical (disambiguation), but I may have missed an early one or two. -2pou (talk) 21:19, 9 April 2020 (UTC)
- The ones I noticed and fixed were Twiddle, Magic Fingers, and EDNY (disambiguation). Totally understandable if it's because of a script. -- Fyrael (talk) 02:16, 10 April 2020 (UTC)
About anchor links
In recent edits, like this one, you have added anchors that are "Wikipedia:Broken redirects".
I understand the background thinking for this. However, I do not think these are really "broken" anchors. Because, when the redirect points to a section (anchor) that does not exist, it nicely ends up at the article in general (not a sub-position). The reader is not lost or mislead. (If there is a policy that defines this as "broken", please point to it).
Would you consider stopping these eidts (in Isotopes-of-pages)? Best, -DePiep (talk) 19:01, 24 April 2020 (UTC)
- @DePiep: Thanks for the message. I can't point to a policy other than WP:ASTONISH, which you more or less address above. I totally understand your point just from a reader perspective, and a little scrolling isn't a problem. If the top of the page was acceptable, then it seems the redirect didn't need an anchor reference in the first place, though. I understand planning for growth, but it seems just as easy to add an anchor to a redirect when appropriate (if a brand new redirect isn't created in the first place).
More than anything, I was trying to clean up some of those large quantity "error" pages that tend to bog down that maintenance page. More from a maintenance standpoint than user standpoint (like removing dead code), either use an anchor or remove an anchor. (Using them seemed less labor intensive than removing them.) All that said, I'm not hard up on it, so I have no problem passing on the isotope blocks if you feel it's disruptive. Regards, 2pou (talk) 21:41, 24 April 2020 (UTC)

You add a : at the beginning of the wikilink to make it look like this File:Blooming Daffodils.JPG. For a template, you can use the tl template {{Information}}. Hope this helps! ★ Bigr Tex 23:40, 17 June 2020 (UTC)

Sorry about my too quick on the trigger edit that briefly undid your own (correct) one. I was using WikiLoop DoubleCheck, and when fact-checking, it looked like that episode was not the 32nd in the 2nd Season... but I then realized, you were pointing to a table that referenced the 32nd episode ever! I will try to be more careful! - AppleBsTime (talk) 21:44, 30 July 2020 (UTC)
- @AppleBsTime: No worries. It's an easy thing to confuse. The only reason I knew to go to 32 instead of 10 is because the built-in anchor system of TV episode lists was reported broken on this report Wikipedia:Database reports/Broken section anchors. Thanks for taking the time to let me know. Happy editing! -2pou (talk) 21:55, 30 July 2020 (UTC)

Page mover granted
Hello, 2pou. Your account has been granted the "extendedmover" user right, either following a request for it or demonstrating familiarity with working with article names and moving pages. You are now able to rename pages without leaving behind a redirect, move subpages when moving the parent page(s), and move category pages.
Please take a moment to review Wikipedia:Page mover for more information on this user right, especially the criteria for moving pages without leaving redirect. Please remember to follow post-move cleanup procedures and make link corrections where necessary, including broken double-redirects when suppressredirect
is used. This can be done using Special:WhatLinksHere. It is also very important that no one else be allowed to access your account, so you should consider taking a few moments to secure your password. As with all user rights, be aware that if abused, or used in controversial ways without consensus, your page mover status can be revoked.
Useful links:

If you do not want the page mover right anymore, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Thank you, and happy editing! ~Swarm~ {sting} 05:40, 3 October 2020 (UTC)
Respectable (The Rolling Stones song)
Explanation please. The article is at (correctly, imo) at The Rolling Stones which the full and correct name of the band. Shouldn't that be the disambiguation, rather than get involved in the long and pointless reverts over many artists whether 'the' was part of the name. Cheers. --Richhoncho (talk) 15:37, 4 November 2020 (UTC)
- @Richhoncho: Thanks for reaching out. I have no personal stake in the matter. Per the permalink in the edit summary of the move, this came from a request to revert the move because it was not discussed and was carried out as a WP:BOLD move. It was contested, and therefore controversial, so I restored the previous status quo. A formal move request can be opened to determine consensus for your recommendation per WP:RM#CM, though. I can open one for you if you'd like; just let me know. -2pou (talk) 16:15, 4 November 2020 (UTC)
- A single rename I can cope with, but as the discussion is now there, would you be kind enough to propose all Rolling Stone songs to include "The" as standardisation for all songs (and albums) by The Rolling Stones? --Richhoncho (talk) 23:44, 4 November 2020 (UTC)
- @Richhoncho: Given the ongoing move discussion at Talk:Scarlet (The Rolling Stones song)#Requested move 4 November 2020 and some of the background activity that appears to be going on with Gonnym's moves, I'm inclined to let that discussion play out in its entirety. -2pou (talk) 18:29, 5 November 2020 (UTC)

The COI is very clear, even though there might not be paid editing involved; their previous declaration that they are a heartfulness practitioner has been removed from their user page, but that was never the the strongest indication of COI. --bonadea contributions talk 09:29, 13 December 2020 (UTC)
Love Live!
Um, many of the links you're moving from Love Live! to Love Live! School Idol Project will have to be moved back to the main Love Live! article once User:Juhachi/Love Live! is moved there, so it would be faster just to move that draft to mainspace.--十八 22:52, 17 December 2020 (UTC)

The Reincarnationist Papers draft
Hi! 2pou. I made an edit to your comment. Please take a look. Thank you — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:16B8:1435:2800:C9C0:B607:4D80:31CE (talk) 13:54, 4 February 2021 (UTC)
- Hello, and thanks for reaching out. I did see the new plot summary at Draft:The Reincarnationist Papers, and it looks good and passes the copyright tool's test. I would accept, but the CV issue isn't totally closed out yet. An administrator will have to hide the previous revisions from view. When done, they will denote such on the draft page, so please stand by a while longer. I'm not sure how long it takes to get attention to the Category:AfC submissions declined as copyright violations list, but I think that they are addressed in random order similar to Articles for Creation reviews. There appears to be linkage to Category:Wikipedia administrators willing to handle RevisionDelete requests, so perhaps there's a way to ping one of those admins. I am watching the page for updates, though. -2pou (talk) 19:04, 4 February 2021 (UTC)

Hallo, Thank you for moving Falling Awake (poetry collection) to mainspace. When you create an article like this with a "disambiguated" title, or move one to mainspace, please make sure that the reader can find it from the basic name (ie Falling Awake ), by adding or expanding a hatnote, or adding the article to a disambiguation page. This helps the reader to find the article, and also reduces the chance of a future careless editor creating a duplicate article with a slightly different disambiguator. I've fixed this one. Thanks, and Happy Editing. PamD 20:53, 16 March 2021 (UTC)
You reverted this

- If you disagree, then you can remove the tag with an explanation. This case was somewhat borderline, so after re-tagging it, I'm less inclined to just auto-remove it again; it doesn't seem to be in a series of drive-by tags like the last time I untagged it. Maybe I'll do some research in the future... -2pou (talk) 20:27, 18 March 2021 (UTC)
- I feel like there is a trend in this editor's tagging/editing behavior... Anyway, I did a cursory search just now, and I'm guessing that recent announcements of some upcoming work from this author here and here probably prompted the IP editor to revisit the page and tag. These announcements are at least support if you want to untag, but I'll try to remember to revisit this in June when these works start, as there will be more coverage to support WP:NAUTHOR criteria #3. There might already be enough, but I'm unfamiliar with her work overall, and there isn't a ton in the article at the moment. -2pou (talk) 22:51, 18 March 2021 (UTC)

Thanks for your edits there earlier this year. I did some work tonight and did a big update of her page, as there are all sorts of articles out there about her! And the fact she wrote that webcomic makes it all the better. That's all. --Historyday01 (talk) 04:13, 29 March 2021 (UTC)
- @Historyday01: Not a problem. And thanks back to you for being able to find sources to support the article! Duck Duck Go is a new one to me. Is there a particular advantage to using that engine for certain things? -2pou (talk) 17:26, 30 March 2021 (UTC)
- The advantage is that Google can't track you with it... I tend to use Google only if I can't find something on DuckDuckGo, instead of just immediately going to Google. --Historyday01 (talk) 17:51, 30 March 2021 (UTC)

- @DarkGlow: Sure thing! -2pou (talk) 17:03, 30 March 2021 (UTC)
Done, but DarkGlow, after looking at this a little more, let me know if you want me to just get the redirect out of the way and restore the page to your user space. You are autopatrolled, and I don't think that carries over to moves if they're carried out by someone else, and this ends up in the WP:NPP feed. If you don't mind that (looks like the reception section should pass it), then you're good to go, but I'm happy to put it back if you'd prefer to move yourself. -2pou (talk) 17:17, 30 March 2021 (UTC)

I think the script usually performs a retarget as the final step in swaps, but only in some cases, and I must not have paid close attention to where it was targeted in the first place; that or my connection hung at that step. Thanks for cleaning up! -2pou (talk) 06:26, 20 May 2021 (UTC)
Incorrect page move
Please note that not everything someone asks in WP:RM/TR is valid. A television program article should never be moved to something as "x (comedy show)". We've worked hard to clean up incorrect titles, so please help by not creating these new ones. As a reference, WP:NCTV. --Gonnym (talk) 17:01, 20 May 2021 (UTC)
- Hello, Gonnym, thank you for reaching out. I agree with you that not all TR requests are valid, but the rationale provided and the section WP:NCTV#Non-series television seemed to support the title when I saw "game show" and "talk show" listed. I read it again and now see that those are exceptions to the rule with the default alternative being program/programme. Apologies for the oversight.
That said, starting with exceptions before the norm does require more careful reading than starting with the norm and listing the few exceptions. The project might want to consider a re-ordering of that bit to head off similar mistakes. Casual reader interpretation when deciding on an article title: "Hmm, this isn't a TV series, so I shouldn't use that. What should I use? Down here, the first thing I see is (game show), so I'm going to jump to that conclusion and do something along the same lines." I suppose one could argue the flip side where everyone then thinks the TV program/programme is the only alternative by not finding out the exceptions further down, but it might just be the way my own brain works where that seems less likely to me. The way the RM/TR was carried out was a two-part misinterpretation: one by the requestor and one by me. (Special:Diff/1024025530) -2pou (talk) 17:44, 20 May 2021 (UTC)- I completely agree that NCTV isn't in the best shape, but sadly when I tried fixing some issues, I got pushback and gave up. Anyways, thanks for helping move pages. I re-read my comment and saw that the tone sounds a bit harsh when it really wasn't meant to be. --Gonnym (talk) 18:17, 20 May 2021 (UTC)
Sandra Sánchez
Hi, thanks for performing my requested moves. I think you forgot to move Talk:Sandra Sánchez (karateka), which still needs to be moved to Talk:Sandra Sánchez. Lennart97 (talk) 18:22, 2 June 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks for pointing that out, Lennart97. I'm not sure what happened. I don't think I unchecked the "Move associated talk page" box. Maybe my connection hung up somewhere? It looks like the Talk:Miz (disambiguation) didn't work either, but you've refactored that one already. I wonder if the G6 option I checked precluded a combined move with the Talk page, or if the Talk page for some reason wasn't overwritable. Anyway, it looks like things are in order now. Thanks again! -2pou (talk) 18:34, 2 June 2021 (UTC)
- Oh yes, I hadn't actually noticed that Talk:Miz (disambiguation) wasn't moved, but since it didn't have any substantial content my solution happened to work, I guess :) Thanks for the quick response! Lennart97 (talk) 20:28, 2 June 2021 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:The Fifth Season (film)

A tag has been placed on Draft:The Fifth Season (film) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a recently created redirect from an implausible typo or misnomer, or other unlikely search term.

Thank you for approving the page, its an honor.
I just wanted to say thank you for approving the page, and I wanted to ask what is a stub-class article? The page is marked as noindex, wanted to ask why is that?
Thanks a lot once again, its an honor! Itsalldestiny (talk)
- Hello, Itsalldestiny. You're welcome. It's good to expand the encyclopedia with new content. A stub doesn't really mean much to the average reader, but it just means that the overall length of the article is pretty short and can be built upon further. WP:STUBDEF has a few interpretations, but one of them is under 250 words (and Otakukart comes in at ~161 words). To most people it is just going to mean that it is short. Some people might be more literal and say if there is nothing more to say about the topic, it shouldn't be a stub, but the average reader doesn't pay attention to those assessments. If you disagree, then you are free to remove that assessment, and someone might re-assess at a later date. I haven't seen that happen much, though. Honestly, the whole process is not given much attention as far as I have seen until people try to get a "Good article" or "Featured article" assessment.
How can you tell the page is marked as noindex? I'm not as familiar with that, but I believe that it is because it has not been "patrolled" by the New pages patrol system. When it is marked as reviewed by them, then it can be found by search engines (I think that is removing the noindex flag). It can be a bit confusing with two similar processes, but the WP:Articles for Creation process is optional (unless it is a fairly new editor, first article, etc.), whereas the WP:NPP process is mandatory for all new articles. There are some other nuances, but I'm guessing you don't care about those. If you are interested, though, I can elaborate on them. -2pou (talk) 21:48, 12 July 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks 2pou a ton for the explanation and I understood everything. I'll try to contribute as much as possible and help with the other articles as well, within my expertise only of course. Once again, I have understood everything, thank you so much! Itsalldestiny (talk)
re: Second opinion
You can at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

RPG resurrection
I've put a lot of work into User:BOZ/Games deletions although I am still working on it. :) I hope to be able to bring back anything that we can find sources for, although I'm sure most of what is on that list is going to stay the way it is. BOZ (talk) 15:24, 15 July 2021 (UTC)
Small comment
Thank you for citing sources properly. However, you appear to be missing the "access-date" parameter when adding references. Please make sure you include this parameter per Template:Cite web and to have consistency with other articles. Some Dude From North Carolina (talk) 20:38, 23 August 2021 (UTC)
