Your RfA
Hi. I am afraid that there is no possibility of your RfA succeeding. I suggest that you withdraw it before my suggestion of WP:SNOW is taken up, and perhaps find someone who is willing to mentor you before your next application. Also, please remember that all who are opposing you now are doing so with your interests as well as Wikipedia's at heart. Thanks. LessHeard vanU 20:28, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
- What WP:SNOW suggestion? I'm not commiting the snowball clause, either. HyperSonicBoom 20:30, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

Warning
[1] Please stop the personal attacks and incivility, or you may get blocked again. Calm down and try to engage in a polite conversation. Personal attacks create a hostile environment on the wiki and interfere with the way things work here. Melsaran (talk) 20:52, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
Your RfA
Why did you close my RFA? I didn't violate WP:SNOW as in your edit summary and I'm really starting to get mad at you plus everyone in my RFA. HyperSonicBoom 20:56, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
- Your RfA was closed because it was clear it would not have passed. Your behaviour was also disgraceful on that RfA and you're very close to being blocked for incivility at the moment. I would strongly urge you to take a break and come back when you're less annoyed if you're starting to get mad at individual users. Nick 21:00, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
- I want to encourage you not to leave the project simply because of a failed RFA. Many good editors have failed at RFA's and it's not something to be discouraged about. You should familiarize yourself with wikipedia policies and guidelines, spend some more time article writing and fighting vandalism, etc. Then perhaps apply again in a few months. You shouldn't insult other users who are simply trying to be helpful, it is never a good idea. Leave a note on my talk if you have any questions or request any advice. Wikidudeman (talk) 22:11, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
- It's absolutely true, I withdrew my first RfA as I didn't think it would pass. Failing an RfA, having it withdrawn or whatever is really nothing to be concerned about. Nick 22:16, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
- I was blocked 3 times as an IP and once as a registered user for nothing I did. Then, they kick me out of the RFA, and then again in 8 months, when I was told I can run again in 8 months, but you literally don't appreciate the good things I do. Doesn't that sound like a good reason to leave? HyperSonicBoom 00:43, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
No one kicked you out of the RFA. It was shut down because it had absolutely no chance of succeeding. You were also insulting other editors and were not assuming good faith. If you want to leave then that's your option, however I'm simply saying that you should give it some time to think about it and then perhaps read up on wikipedia policies and procedures. Perhaps in a few months, after you have apologized to all of the editors you have insulted at the RFA, after you have a few dozen reports to AIV, after you have a few thousand edits, after you've helped bring a few articles up to at least GA status, then perhaps you should run for RFA again. Here are my suggestions for you: Read the following (bold is most important):
Install the following:
It will drastically improve your ability to fight vandals.
Post any questions that you might have on my talk page. Wikidudeman (talk) 02:26, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
Some frank advice
Look kid, I noticed you predicament here, and I'm going to take some time out of my day to try and help you. You didn't make it in your RFA because you haven't read enough. If you really want to get into Wikipedia, you need to read. A lot. Let me give you a list to get you started.
- Wikipedia:Requests for Adminship: You haven't read many RfAs. It's obvious because you thought that your RfA had a chance of getting through, even though you have less than a thousand edits (and about 1/4 of your edits are to your own user page). I'm not going to tell you what RfA participants expect, you're just going to have to read some old RfAs and figure it out for yourself.
- Wikipedia:User page: You're still talking about how Wizardman vandalized "your" user page. You need to read and absorb this policy.
- WP:SNOW: You keep saying "I didn't do WP:SNOW". That doesn't make any sense. Read WP:SNOW, and you'll see both why your RfA was closed early, and how it's impossible for you to "do" it.
If you want to be here, you have to teach yourself the way things work. Nobody's going to teach you: it's an all-volunteer project. You need to read policy pages yourself, and understand them. If you want to be an admin, you have to read about what people expect from you. It's that simple. If you don't feel like reading, go do something else; Wikipedia's not for you.
You're a young kid, so take this to heart: if you drop everything and walk away every time things don't go the way you want them to, you're never going to get anywhere. 03:32, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
- I'd like to add to that. I know you got discouraged when your RFA failed, but I've failed two now and I'm still chugging away. The IP above me said that nobody would teach you, but my talk page is always there if you have a question. I'd like to recommend that you look over this list of policies, as it will give you a better handle on how things work around here. I hope you don't give up and leave Wikipedia, we can always use valuable contributors. Anyway, good luck in your future endeavors. Useight 15:52, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
- Screw you all; I told you. I worked my butt off daily, and I get no appreciation whatsoever. Blocked 3 times as an IP for absolutely nothing, and blocked once on my account for reverting vandalism, and that shouldn't have been done. Would you like it if you worked your butt off 24/7 with no appreciation? Of course not, and that's exactly what you're all doing to me - disappreciation. There's no reason to be here.
