The China Xinhua News Network Corporation (CNC,Chinese: 中国新华新闻电视网; pinyin: zhōng guó xīn huá xīn wén diàn shì wǎng)is a state-owned tech-based international communication platform affiliated to Xinhua News Agency[1],of which opening ceremony was held in Beijing on December 31,2009[2],began broadcasting on January 1,2010 in the Asia-Pacific region and some European countries[3][4].
CNC includes a TV news network with owned-and-operated stations and new media services,which is being regarded as an attempt by China to enhance global communication,develop its influence abroad and counter foreign media views[5],in other words,was part of a Chinese government's effort to show an international vision with a Chinese perspective[6].
Until June 2016, CNC Chinese and English channels have been accessible in some 200 countries and regions in Asia-Pacific, North America, Europe, Middle East and Africa through satellites[7].

CNC World
On January 1,2010[8][9][10],China's state news agency Xinhua News Agency launched a 24-hour global news channel in English—— CNC World,hoping to offer a better view of China to its international viewers[11],which was looked as a step in the government's multibillion-pound soft power push[12]and part of a government effort to "present an international vision with a Chinese perspective"[13].

CNC Chinese Channel has mainly covered Asia-Pacific,including the United States,Australia,New Zealand,Southeast Asia,Hong Kong and other regions,overlaping around 200 countries and regions, with cable and wireless TV landing[7].

CNC Holdings Limited(stock code:8356:HK[14][15][16]),affiliated to CNC,is a Hong Kong-based investment holding company,chiefly engaged in the provision of waterworks engineering services. The Company operates through three segments[17][18][19].
