Zee Bangla (Bengali: জ়ী বাংলা) is a leading Bengali language Cable television channel in India. It is offered by Zee Network, part of the Essel Group.[1][2]
The first Bengali-language television channel in India,[3] Zee Bangla was launched in 1996 by Zee's Tv chairman.[3]
It aired the comedy show "Raja and Gaja" before the show switched stations.[4]
It airs very popular shows. Examples are Zee Banglar Rannaghar,Didi No 1,Dadagiri hosted by Sourav Ganguly
