Enable a Geonotice or two?
Hi, I already nudged Andrew G. as requested, but our SF Wikipedia Day event has gone unnoticed for a week or so, and the date is rapidly approaching. Could you take a look? It looks like there's a new entry there today for Boston as well, though that one lacks coordinates thus far. Wikipedia:Geonotice#San_Francisco_Bay_Area_Wikipedia_15 Thank you, and happy new year! -Pete (talk) 22:55, 3 January 2016 (UTC)
Bristol Portal nomination
The Portal of Bristol has been recieved 3 "Support" comments and not a single "Oppose" comment and also the discussion was started long back on September 10, 2015 (4 months ago). At this point, does the discussion needs to be closed? Thanks. SuperHero ● 👊 ● ★ 07:19, 20 January 2016 (UTC)
Saudi Arabia portal nomination
The portal of Saudi Arabia has 2 "support" vote and no single "oppose" or any discussion vote yet made on it. It was nominated on December 2015 and as per present (i.e: February 2016) time, no "active" votes are even presented. Mostly, it needs to preserved as "archive". Portal:Wetlands
Hello. I have just made a portal on Wetlands. Would you mind taking a look and letting me know what else it needs to be considered complete? Thanks for your assistance. H.dryad (talk) 13:16, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
- I've made the changes you suggest. Would you mind taking another look to see if everything is Halal? Thanks. H.dryad (talk) 13:17, 22 March 2016 (UTC)
Disambiguation page
Hello, OhanaUnited. When you changed Tuck rule from a redirect into a disambiguation page, you may not have been aware of WP:FIXDABLINKS, which says:
- When creating disambiguation pages, fix all resulting mis-directed links.
- Before moving an article to a qualified name (in order to create a disambiguation page at the base name, to move an existing disambiguation page to that name, or to redirect that name to a disambiguation page), click on What links here to find all of the incoming links. Repair all of those incoming links to use the new article name.
It would be a great help if you would check the other Wikipedia articles that contain links to "Tuck rule" and fix them to take readers to the correct article. Thanks.

Regarding your undo of my University of Toronto article.
Hi,
I saw you have undone my enrolment count update to University of Toronto article. The article clearly mentions that it is intended for the main (downtown) campus whereas the enrolment count shows the combined total of other two satellite campuses combined -- each campus has its own article. This should be clear if you actually read the reference cited.
Let me know if you have questions. Thanks.174.118.75.13 (talk) 15:47, 16 May 2016 (UTC)

User:Philipandrew2 and User:RioHondo edit warring at Philippines
Hi OhanaUnited, can you please do an investigation with regards to the case of sockpuppeting of this user? And also, I've noticed that some edits made in the article Philippines was been messing up big time because of those 2 users Philipandrew2 (who recently reported by RioHondo for sockpuppeting), and of course RioHondo. I think this considers as a edit warring. But of course, I don't want to judge the book by its cover first, so I'm requesting you please review their edits carefully? The edits of RioHondo are much more specific and easy to understand, but with regards to Philipandrew2 edits, I'm a little bit confused, and also I noticed that he/she is having a grammar problem so I want to see that stop. Please do address this problem. Thank you. Hamham31Heke!KushKush! 04:41, 15 July 2016 (UTC)

Extended confirmed protection
Two-Factor Authentication now available for admins
Hello,
Please note that TOTP based two-factor authentication is now available for all administrators. In light of the recent compromised accounts, you are encouraged to add this additional layer of security to your account. It may be enabled on your preferences page in the "User profile" tab under the "Basic information" section. For basic instructions on how to enable two-factor authentication, please see the developing help page for additional information. Important: Be sure to record the two-factor authentication key and the single use keys. If you lose your two factor authentication and do not have the keys, it's possible that your account will not be recoverable. Furthermore, you are encouraged to utilize a unique password and two-factor authentication for the email account associated with your Wikimedia account. This measure will assist in safeguarding your account from malicious password resets. Comments, questions, and concerns may be directed to the thread on the administrators' noticeboard. A new user right for New Page Patrollers
Hi OhanaUnited.
A new user group, New Page Reviewer, has been created in a move to greatly improve the standard of new page patrolling. The user right can be granted by any admin at PERM. It is highly recommended that admins look beyond the simple numerical threshold and satisfy themselves that the candidates have the required skills of communication and an advanced knowledge of notability and deletion. Admins are automatically included in this user right.
It is anticipated that this user right will significantly reduce the work load of admins who patrol the performance of the patrollers. However, due to the complexity of the rollout, some rights may have been accorded that may later need to be withdrawn, so some help will still be needed to some extent when discovering wrongly applied deletion tags or inappropriate pages that escape the attention of less experienced reviewers, and above all, hasty and bitey tagging for maintenance. User warnings are available here but very often a friendly custom message works best.
If you have any questions about this user right, don't hesitate to join us at WT:NPR. (Sent to all admins).MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 13:48, 15 November 2016 (UTC)

Time for the featured portal process to call it a day?
Hi OU, I've mentioned you in a comment at Wikipedia talk:Featured portal candidates#Did anyone notice we lost a Featured Portal director? and suggested tagging the idea of featured process as {{historical}} because it is clear that no-one is interested in nominating, discussing, promoting, archiving, or demoting featured portals these days. As the only remaining FPo director, you might be interested in adding your views. Cheers, BencherliteTalk 00:59, 15 December 2016 (UTC)
