Hello HaEr48, can you help update the Indonesia wiki haze article, the haze started in June [1] , not August. Thank you! starship.paint ~ KO 06:02, 11 October 2015 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for November 10
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Leo Africanus (novel), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Circassian (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

ArbCom elections are now open!
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Muslim/Morisco revolts
Since you've created an article on the 1499–1501 revolt, I think the article Morisco rebellions in Granada (a misnomer anyway) ought to be renamed. Its focus is already primarily on the second conflict. Do you have an opinion on the title? Three options were suggested on the talk page. Alternatively, there is the simplest option of all: just remove the 's' from the end of 'rebellions'. Srnec (talk) 23:19, 23 December 2015 (UTC)
- @Srnec: Thanks for your message, yes I think renaming makes sense. I have no good idea for the title, since the other article is named Rebellion of the Alpujarras (1499–1501), maybe we just call the other one Rebellion of the Alpujarras (1568–1571)? Another thing that we possibly need to do is disambiguate all the links to the current Morisco rebellions in Granada to the correct article. HaEr48 (talk) 15:57, 24 December 2015 (UTC)

DYK nomination of Oran fatwa
Hello! Your submission of Oran fatwa at the Did You Know nominations page has been reviewed, and some issues with it may need to be clarified. Please review the comment(s) underneath your nomination's entry and respond there as soon as possible. Thank you for contributing to Did You Know! Andrew D. (talk) 13:25, 12 February 2016 (UTC)
- @Andrew Davidson: Thanks for the review and comments, Andrew! I tried to improve the article as you suggested, and replied in the nomination page. HaEr48 (talk) 07:10, 13 February 2016 (UTC)
Oran fatwa
HaEr48, I discussed the lead with Jonesey95 at User talk:Jonesey95#Oran fatwa, and we agreed that the lead contained some unnecessary repetition. Jonesey95 also thought there was too much detail in the lead. So I removed the repetition and some details. I think the lead is more concise and perhaps more the right length for the size of the article. If you think some of the detail ought to be put back, let me know and I'll try to work it in to the sentences (or you can do it). Perhaps the phrase "responsum fatwa" can be explained in its own short paragraph (as suggested by Jonesey95) in the body of the article. Also, can you check to be sure the references are correct since I did a little cutting and re-arranging. I saw there were two references from the same author, with one from 2005 and the other from 2007, both page 60 though. I cut one out, but don't know if I cut the right one out, or if both are still needed.
Also, I cut out the month in which the fatwa was issued. You might add that somewhere in the body of the article. Corinne (talk) 01:06, 17 February 2016 (UTC)
- @Corinne: Thank you Corinne for the copy-editing. Your shortening of the lead looks good to me. As for sources, I think you did the correct thing there. I guess you refer to Harvey 2005 p.60, and that is the correct one. There is no Harvey 2007, if there was probably I entered it by mistake. Again, thanks for doing this!
