Translation from Swedish
Kalmar Glasäpple
Please find below a crude translation as per request 2012. Some linguistic polishing by a native speaker of English might be required, so amend as nessesary.
NB. 1700-talet (year 1700 – 1799) in Swedish corresponds to the 18th century in English, so there is no printing error below.
- Kalmar Glasäpple, (meaning glossy apple from Kalmar; an alternate name is Spanish renett) is an apple, the provenience of which has been disputed. Anyhow, this apple species has been grown in Sweden since the 18th century. The blossoming is late. Any apple species florificating at the same time as Kalmar Glasäpple is good for fertilization. The body is light yellow, and the taste is a mix of acidity and sweetness. Harvesting may begin in early October; fully ripe early December. The tenability is 1 – 2 months. Kalmar Glasäpple is suitable for eating as is, as well as for cooking. In Sweden, swedish cultivation zones (i) – (ii) [1] are suitable for gardening.
Reference
I Sverige odlas Kalmar glasäpple gynnsammast i zon I-II.

There is an article about Bartlett] in the Concise Oxford Dictionary of Music (5th edition), but it is subscription-only. I wonder if you have access to this online article and could perhaps copy it and post it on my talk page, or send it to me via email? Thanks for your help, Yoninah (talk) 23:05, 19 January 2016 (UTC)

Muiravonside Country Park
I've added a lot of history from documents, and tried to find the original sources where I can, but a lot to that are held at the Callender house archives, how do I reference things that appear to have no name, such as handwritten interviews, do I need to get the official name of the document from the archives? If you find it interesting feel free to investigate further, it will help with the signage at the park.
I used the draft system to give me time to put in more detail while putting it somewhere it could be found, if you think it's of publishable quality then I'd be happy for it to go 'live' :) James B 17:56, 18 February 2016 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jambamkin (talk • contribs)
Strictly speaking you should not use interviews or primary evidence. Wikipedia calls this "original research" as it includes those who have the "true" info on who killed JFK etc etc. Find secondary sources (not blogs), encylopedias (not wikis) are fine. HTH Victuallers (talk) 18:09, 18 February 2016 (UTC)
Thanks for all the help and the move the userspace, impressed that you found the 1977 court case, I was looking for that. It will be good news to give when I meet the ranger at the park, that they now have a Wikipedia page. James B 22:53, 22 February 2016 (UTC)

Roger, You will recall my note to you a few months ago regarding Frederick William Lock (artist), who was an illustrator of antiquities for Thomas Bateman in Derbyshire and Staffordshire. Early this week Wikipedia accepted my first (and only) article: [2] You will find a reference to your Thomas Bateman article in the first section of my Frederick William Lock article under “Early Life as an Artist in England, 1841-1846. Thank you for emphasizing my need to establish that Lock was “notable” to a degree acceptable to Wikipedia.
My motivation in writing that article was to condense much of what I have found about the artist of the painting that my wife Carolyn and I were given as a house-warming gift soon after we bought our first home in Houston, TX in 1961 We named the painting: The Artist's Possessions; it is signed in the upper right: F. W. Lock/Montreal/1848/with a lock symbol -- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frederick_William_Lock_(artist)#/media/File:The_Artist%27s_Possessions,_F.W._Lock,_Montreal,_1848.jpg Barton Ellison 00:54, 10 March 2016 (UTC) |

Thanks for uploading File:Wrexie Leonard - 1937.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. Disambiguation link notification for March 31
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Mary Wright Sewell, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Sutton (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

"Women are everywhere"
Hi Victuallers. I'm an editor of the Italian Wikipedia. I'm trying to participate to an IEG with the project "Women are everywhere". You will find the draft at this link https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Grants:IEG/Women_are_everywhere It would be great if you could have a look at it. I need any kind of suggestion or advice to improve it. Support or endorsement would be fantastic. Many thanks,--Kenzia (talk) 09:05, 4 April 2016 (UTC)
Thank you for your comment. As I have already explained to other people I've not been very active on Wikipedia, being very engaged first in my studies and then in my work. I've always been a great user of Wikipedia, and have always been sorry for the gender gap in the women representation. Last year I participated to an Inspire campaign with this idea, and now that I've more time to dedicate to this task I would love to put it in action. If the fact that I've not been very active till now on Wikipedia is a problem, I will not present the project. It would be very kind of you to give me your advise on this point. Thank you.--Kenzia (talk) 10:04, 4 April 2016 (UTC)
