Can you provide me a link to the AN discussion about an interaction ban, which had consenus but wasn't enacted just cuz I was on a wikibreak?--MaranoFan (talk) 13:28, 29 March 2016 (UTC)
- While it was once suggested, I don't remember one ever being officially agreed upon or even seeing consensus for one, so no-can-do. Snuggums (talk / edits) 13:31, 29 March 2016 (UTC)
2016 GA Cup-Round 2
Greetings, GA Cup competitors! Wednesday saw the end of Round 1. Sainsf took out Round 1 with an amazing score of 765. In second place, MPJ-DK earned an astounding 742 points, and in third place, FunkMonk received 610 points. In Round 1, 206 reviews were completed, more than any other year! At the beginning of March, there were 595 outstanding nominations in the GAN queue; by the end of Round 1, there were 490. We continue to make a difference at GAN and throughout Wikipedia, something we should all be proud of. Thanks to all our competitors for helping to make the GA Cup a continued success, and for your part in helping other editors improve articles. We hope to see all remaining users fighting it out in Round 2 so we can lower the backlog as much as possible. To qualify for the second round, you needed to make it into the top 16 of participants. Users were placed in 4 random pools of 4. To qualify for Round 3, the top 2 in each pool will progress, and there will also be one wildcard. This means that the participant who comes in 9th place (all pools combined) will also move on. Round 2 will start on April 1 at 0:00:01 UTC and end on April 28 at 23:59:59 UTC. Information about Round 2 and the pools can be found here Also, remember that a major rule change will go into effect starting on April 1, which marks the beginning of Round Two. Round 1 had an issue brought up in the rules, which we are correcting with this clarification. We believe that this change will make the competition more inherently fair. The new rule is: All reviews must give the nominator (or anyone else willing to improve the article) time to address the issues at hand, even if the article would qualify for what is usually called a "quick fail" in GA terms. To avoid further confusion, we have updated the scoring page, replacing the term "quick fail" with the term "fail without granting time for improvements". We expect all reviewers to put a review on hold for seven days in cases such as these as well, in order to apply the same standards to every competitor. The judges will strictly enforce this new rule. Good luck and have fun! Cheers from Figureskatingfan, 3family6, Jaguar, MrWooHoo, and Zwerg Nase. To subscribe or unsubscribe to future GA Cup newsletter, please add or remove your name to our mailing list. If you are a participant still competing, you will be on the mailing list no matter what as this is the easiest way to communicate between all participants.

Fixing ref error
I just fixing ref error. What I did wrong? 123.136.106.227 (talk) 14:24, 30 March 2016 (UTC)
- You changed the Infobox genre field in the process to something that wasn't supported in the article body or (as far as I can tell) any citations used. All listings must be supported by reliable sources (see WP:WikiProject Albums/Sources for a sense of what to use and what not to use), whether placed in article body or Infobox. Applause
Hi, isn't Legobot supposed to add this?--MaranoFan (talk) 12:20, 1 April 2016 (UTC)
- It normally would from what I've seen when the reviewer doesn't do so, MaranoFan, but perhaps that isn't one of its functions anymore or maybe I just added that icon for it and you before its automatic addition was scheduled to be made. Snuggums (talk / edits) 15:19, 1 April 2016 (UTC)
72.162.48.3 vandalism
This IP has continued to vandalized Wikipedia for two years now. I saw you are one of the many editors who has ask it to stop on it's talk page. The IP has never responded to anything on the talk page. Do you think there is anything that can be done to get it blocked? Gouncbeatduke (talk) 17:26, 7 April 2016 (UTC)
- Report it to WP:AIV. Snuggums (talk / edits) 18:17, 7 April 2016 (UTC)

Love your opening line here. :D ツ FrB.TG (talk) 12:30, 9 April 2016 (UTC)

I'm back, baby!
Back with a brand new article! And so many more to come briefly! Thought you'd be kind of happy to know. I've missed Wiki! pedro | talk 17:26, 10 April 2016 (UTC)

Emma Stone
Thanks for all the little help with Emma Stone. Do you like her as an actress? ツ FrB.TG (talk) 08:18, 13 April 2016 (UTC)
- Happy to help. I've seen her in Superbad, Friends With Benefits, and Crazy, Stupid, Love and found her characters in both to be funny :P. Apparently she was also in The Help, but I don't really remember seeing her in it while watching that movie. Probably will have to rewatch it before I can assess how she did in that. Adele main page
Hi you removed , the £50 mill that I replaced, that had been upped to £100 mill by another user.Could you just let me know what you ment by "not seeing support for this" the £50 mill has been on her page since april/March 2015..which is around the time the rich list comes out each year. Why did you remove it altogether... It (Her Worth) has been updated as each rich list is published for a few years now. Pauseypaul (talk) 16:12, 14 April 2016 (UTC)
- Pauseypaul, I did that because there was no citation provided that included the figure. Feel free to restore if you can back it a credible source. Snuggums (talk / edits) 17:23, 14 April 2016 (UTC)

Just did a read through of The Revenant
This morning, I just did a read through of The Revenant and its starting to look fairly stable in the Plot section, and opening performance of the DVD sales and on-line streaming was placed at number one. The article seems to be getting a daily page count of between 20K and 25K readers, and I was wondering if you had given any further thought to a GA nom following the conversation last month. After my reading it this morning, it starting to look more promising with the top rate DVD opening sales performance. Any thoughts? Fountains-of-Paris (talk) 16:26, 20 April 2016 (UTC)
- Definitely looks better than it did last month. However, before renominating, I saw a citation formatting error in the "Filming" section that needs to be addressed. Additionally, the cast list, crew list, and paragraph on Academy Awards in the "Accolades" section still need to be fully referenced, which I mentioned in the first GA review. For sales, it would help to provide figures. Once I saw a mention of how it hasn't even been released in theaters in Japan, that alone told me it's still too soon to renominate. Unreleased films and those playing in theaters are an automatic fail for stability. It must be completely out of theaters to be stable enough for a GAN with no upcoming releases or re-releases. Snuggums (talk / edits) 17:22, 20 April 2016 (UTC)
- Took care of the cite error, and Reuters is actually telling us that DiCaprio opened the film release in Japan here: [1]. Since it is now two months since the Academy Awards I am assuming that theaters will keep it going as long as they can, though this shouldn't affect stability that much. The leading markets for the film have been China, UK, and USA which have become fairly stable. I'll look at the Accolades section again and maybe the article will look better next month. Cheers. Some help
Hey, I have a doubt about this. Is Metacritic the only source for acclaim? particularly for FutureSex/LoveSounds. it was listed in a number of best-of-the-decade lists (for one, the best), and is referred to as an acclaimed album by this sources 1 2 3 4. Tho its Metacritic score from 2006 indicates only positive reviews. Cornerstonepicker (talk) 04:52, 22 April 2016 (UTC)
- Definitely not the only source for acclaim. Not sure about "HotNewHipHop", but the other links you provided are perfectly fine for that claim. Snuggums (talk / edits) 04:55, 22 April 2016 (UTC)
- Perfect. Thanks! Cornerstonepicker (talk) 05:01, 22 April 2016 (UTC)
Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Emily Ratajkowski/archive4
You were involved in one of the prior WP:FAC or WP:PR discussions about Emily Ratajkowski. The current discussion at Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Emily Ratajkowski/archive4 needs more discussants. In my prior successful FACs, success has been largely based on guidance at FAC in reshaping the content that I have nominated. I would appreciate discussants interested in giving guidance such guidance.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 03:56, 26 April 2016 (UTC)
- Very understandable, but I'm going to decline since I don't have the time (or patience) to review articles at FAC, FLC, or GAN and probably won't for a while. Hopefully this goes better than prior FAC's. Good luck. Snuggums (talk / edits) 04:19, 26 April 2016 (UTC)

Could you do image review of the Emma Stone article in its PR? Will really appreciate the help. FrB.TG (talk) 08:42, 27 April 2016 (UTC)

You asked me did you not read my previous edit summary? and I ask you, Why ethnicity not relevant to notability and, for example, place of origin or Estate yes? — Preceding unsigned comment added by AlejandroR1990 (talk • contribs) 19:11, 1 May 2016 (UTC)
- Because it's not a defining characteristic they are noted for. In fact, there is nobody I can immediately think of where ethnicity is worth listing in Infobox because of it not being a defining characteristic for anybody that comes to mind. There is also consensus at Wikipedia:Village pump (policy)/Archive 127#RfC: Ethnicity in infoboxes not to list it. Whether place of origin is worth listing is a separate matter.
