Improper block
Hey, I was looking through some old things when I stumbled onto a block you made of User:*.*; way back in 2006. While you claimed it to be a vandal account; I see absolutely no contributions being made from this account. Can you please explain? Dipankan (Have a chat?) 12:10, 14 May 2012 (UTC)
- Account in question was involved in that old "ON WHEELS!" vandalism trend, judging by its deleted contributions. Not sure if you can see those, but any administrator should be able to vouch for that. If someone is interested in usurping the account, they should feel free to ask. – Luna Santin (talk) 19:25, 8 June 2012 (UTC)

Request to delete and/or replace image
• Use a ==descriptive heading== • Use [[1]] when mentioning users and pages
I'm writing to request that my photo be taken down on my wiki page. I'm sure the person who posted it meant well, but I don't give permission for people taking pictures at events to post images of me to the Web. I'm also concerned about the book image posted (I'm the text author, not the illustrator).
Thank you for your assistance.

Invasion of Privacy/Incorrect birth dates
In regard to the biography of me that appears on Wikipedia, please remove the date of birth. I don't know where you got it from. I am fed up with incorrect dates of birth being printed - the last time, Wikipedia printed that I had died aged 73, which was very distressing. My son removed that. I have never published my true date of birth as a matter of policy, as I refuse to be defined by my age. I should be grateful if you would kindly respect my privacy. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.177.2.43 (talk) 15:07, 30 June 2012 (UTC)

Notification of pending suspension of administrative permissions due to inactivity
Following a community discussion in June 2011, consensus was reached to provisionally suspend the administrative permissions of users who have been inactive for one year (i.e. administrators who have not made any edits or logged actions in over one year). As a result of this discussion, your administrative permissions will be removed pending your return if you do not return to activity within the next month. If you wish to have these permissions reinstated should this occur, please post to the Wikipedia:Bureaucrats' noticeboard and the userright will be restored per the re-sysopping process (i.e., as long as the attending bureaucrats are reasonably satisfied that your account has not been compromised and that your inactivity did not have the effect of evading scrutiny of any actions which might have led to sanctions). This removal of access is procedural only, and not intended to reflect negatively upon you in any way. We wish you the best in future endeavors, and thank you for your past administrative efforts. If you remain inactive for a three year period of time, including the present year you have been inactive, you will need to request reinstatement at WP:RFA. Proposal to shift to semi-protection or to remove protection
Though the above signals inactivity on admin matters, I seem to have been referred here in my proposal to lower the level of, or eliminate, the protection on Template:S-prec. My proposal is here and stemmed in part from my experience with securing an edit to the template here. One line at WP:RFPP, where I was sent after I made my proposal, recommends asking the protecting admin first. From a look at the template's revision history, it seems you granted the original protection in 2007. If you'd care to weigh in or guide me on the next step, I'd appreciate it. Otherwise I'll proceed over there. Thanks and cheers. Swliv (talk) 00:36, 11 August 2013 (UTC)
An RfC that you may be interested in...
As one of the previous contributors to {{Infobox film}} or as one of the commenters on it's talk page, I would like to inform you that there has been a RfC started on the talk page as to implementation of previously deprecated parameters. Your comments and thoughts on the matter would be welcomed. Happy editing!

Your assistance please...
In 2006 you deleted an article entitle Christine Rosen. A Christine Rosen is a Bernard L. Schwartz Fellow -- not enough to establish notability all by itself. But I am looking for other references. Was the article on Christine Rosen about a journalist? Could you userify it for me? If it about a different individual I'll apply a {{db-u1}}.
Thanks! Geo Swan (talk) 06:26, 11 March 2015 (UTC)
- @Geo Swan: Did you see the notification on the top of this page? This user is inactive since 2012. Vanjagenije (talk) 11:57, 11 March 2015 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open!
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
