Lux Leaks suggested for "in the news"
You might want to take a look at: Wikipedia:In_the_news/Candidates#Luxembourg_Leaks -- Neudabei (talk) 21:38, 13 November 2014 (UTC)
Luxembourg Leaks
There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. μηδείς (talk) 00:22, 14 November 2014 (UTC)
Talk?
I am curious why, as an admin, it behooves you to edit war on an article at AdF and not to participate in the discussion at the Luxembourg Leaks talk page. I am also curious why you have been recruited above and find it proper to act as you have. μηδείς (talk) 01:45, 14 November 2014 (UTC)
- Recruited? I have not participated in the ITN discussion to which you say I was recruited above. Thue (talk) 02:05, 14 November 2014 (UTC)
Take this as your 3RR warning. μηδείς (talk) 01:45, 14 November 2014 (UTC)
- I have reverted twice. For good reason both times. Thue (talk) 02:05, 14 November 2014 (UTC)
DDR5 SDRAM
You deleted DDR5 SDRAM. Modules exist. I am currently studying them to get a better understanding of wavelet transform. Just FYI. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.197.6.134 (talk) 18:39, 3 December 2014 (UTC)
- Whatever does a general-purpose SDRAM standard have to do with wavelet transforms? Ate you sure you are not thinking about GDDR5, which is indeed something you would use for wevelet transforms on a GPU? Thue (talk) 01:06, 4 December 2014 (UTC)
Windows Media Video (video compression format)
Hey, Thue. I noticed that recently, you copied part of Windows Media Video article and created Windows Media Video (video compression format), creating a misleading article fork that gives the impression that there is also something called "Windows Media Video" file format separate from Advanced Systems Format format. Unfortunately, not only I do not see a source for this assertion, Windows Media Video's body and Advanced Systems Format article also contends that no such thing exists.
Therefore, I performed what I hope is a BRD revert. (I believe the magnitude of the problem warranted this act.) But I am more than ready to discuss this issue and see your sources in the article talk page. Fleet Command (talk) 08:33, 7 December 2014 (UTC)
Merge discussion for Turla (malware)
An article that you have been involved in editing, Turla (malware), has been proposed for a merge with another article. If you are interested in the merge discussion, please participate by going here, and adding your comments on the discussion page. Thank you. MartinThoma (talk) 19:13, 17 December 2014 (UTC)
- @MartinThoma: If they are two articles about the same thing, then just go ahead and merge them. Thue (talk) 19:30, 17 December 2014 (UTC)
File:Colonization colony.png listed for deletion
A file that you uploaded or altered, File:Colonization colony.png, has been listed at Wikipedia:Files for deletion. Please see the discussion to see why it has been listed (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry). Feel free to add your opinion on the matter below the nomination. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 21:19, 20 December 2014 (UTC)
Hjælperen - Slaget på Reden
Hej Thue,

Thue (talk) 02:46, 6 January 2015 (UTC)
Links to Wikia
Hi Thue, I reverted your addition of the link to the SC2 Wikia wiki on the article on LotV. Generally, external links to open wikis are discouraged by our external links policy (under #12). I understand your sentiment, and the SC2 wiki tends to be fairly stable, but precedent has it that it's an external link we don't use. All the best, Martijn Hoekstra (talk) 18:29, 19 January 2015 (UTC)
Theories
Theories of this kind are even less acceptable on Wikipedia than rumors: we don't report speculation, particularly if they haven't been picked up in multiple sources. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a place to make guesses and post them in case they're true . You're experienced enough to know that this sort of thing should never be reported in Wikipedia's voice in any case. Please self-revert, or at least please use the talkpage to discuss this. Acroterion (talk) 13:39, 17 February 2015 (UTC)
- @Acroterion: I am experienced enough that theories do have their place here. You are talking complete nonsense, and I strongly question your competence. Are you going to delete the our article about the Theory of Gravity next? Thue (talk) 19:13, 17 February 2015 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for May 5
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Charles Stross, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page The Merchants' War (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Axact
Hi Thue. Could you please remove the wikilinks for all of the Axact websites that do not already have Wikipedia articles? These are almost certainly non-notable. --Dr. Fleischman (talk) 20:44, 18 May 2015 (UTC)
- Never mind, it was done by someone else. --Dr. Fleischman (talk) 06:45, 19 May 2015 (UTC)
Talk:Material design
I've chimed into the discussion and would appreciate it if you could contribute once more. I wholeheartedly agree with you and think it should be moved back.–Totie (talk) 03:21, 29 June 2015 (UTC)
Edit war warning
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Heroin. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Jytdog (talk) 14:03, 20 August 2015 (UTC)
Level packs listed at Redirects for discussion
An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Level packs. Since you had some involvement with the Level packs redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. Steel1943 (talk) 01:21, 18 September 2015 (UTC)
Reference errors on 6 October
Hello, I'm ReferenceBot. I have automatically detected that an edit performed by you may have introduced errors in referencing. It is as follows:
- On the Dual EC DRBG page, your edit caused a broken reference name (help) and a cite error (help). ( | )
Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can . Thanks, ReferenceBot (talk) 00:35, 7 October 2015 (UTC)
blurb wikilinked
Updated blurb to wikilink to Turkey, for Wikipedia:In_the_news/Candidates#.5BPosted.5D_2015_Ankara_bombings. If you can update ITN would be great. 77.42.138.191 (talk) 13:59, 10 October 2015 (UTC)
ArbCom elections are now open!
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Replaceable fair use File:2015 Russian Sukhoi Su-24 shootdown Turkey claim.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:2015 Russian Sukhoi Su-24 shootdown Turkey claim.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the file description page and add the text
{{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}}
below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing<your reason>
with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable. - On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 17:09, 6 December 2015 (UTC)
