JetLover, my love who makes want to be a jet
Hey, Is This Thing On? *tap tap tap* Testing, testing, 1-2-3...
Well, a long time ago, I was vandaliser who constantly raided this page and stuff like that. Although me and JetLover seemed like enemies on the surface, deep down I always had deep respect for him, a feeling I can only hope was mutual. So, now that JetLover is retired, I decided to dedicate this song to him. JetLover, if you can hear me, I just wanted you to know I love you.
And now, without further ado, here's my song, JetLover. I hope you will enjoy it:
JetLover, JetLover, when will those clouds all disappear?
JetLover, JetLover, where will it lead us from here?
With no loving in our souls and no money in our coats
You can't say we're satisfied
But JetLover, JetLover, you can't say we never tried
JetLover, you're beautiful, but ain't it time we said good-bye?
JetLover, I still love you, remember all those nights we cried?
All the dreams we held so close seemed to all go up in smoke
Let me whisper in your ear:
JetLover, JetLover, where will it lead us from here?
Oh, JetLover, don't you weep, all your kisses still taste sweet
I hate that sadness in your eyes
But JetLover, JetLover, ain't it time we said good-bye?
With no loving in our souls and no money in our coats
You can't say we're satisfied
But JetLover, I still love you, baby
Ev'rywhere I look I see your eyes
There ain't a wikipedian that comes close to you
Come on Baby, dry your eyes
But JetLover, JetLover, ain't it good to be alive?
JetLover, JetLover, they can't say we never tried —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.125.83.238 (talk) 15:24, 9 July 2010 (UTC)

Conspiring against the vandals, eh?
Digusting. Using utmost care, I vandalized your user page twice. TWICE! When I arrived at the unvandalized article, the vandalism counter was set to 115. Following my two malicious edits, [and the subsequent reverts] the vandalism counter was reset to 115. I find this conspiracy to withold the accurate amount of vandalous edits against you from the public utterly horrific. I demand recognition for my desperate attempts to get attention! THIS IS WAR!
Sincerely, 216.154.16.182 (talk) 01:22, 18 December 2008 (UTC)

Jetlover, your subpage is showing up as a candidate for speedy deletion here. Do you want the page deleted? If not, I would recommend removing it from that category. If so, let me know, I'll take care of it for you. Keeper | 76 18:18, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

Vandals at the ramparts
Thanks for your assistance. I wanted to note the vandalism but couldn't think of anything more erudite than "Knock it off." Your templates look like a great idea and I will use them. It appeared to be a kid's horsing around but still a more formal caution would be appropriate. FWIW Bzuk (talk) 04:15, 17 January 2008 (UTC).

Pavelic-Vatikan
Hi, I overwrote your IAR speedy request at Pavelic-Vatikan with a redirect, hope this is OK. This is the third time that article had been created tonight and I thought a redirect might be better than a speedy since it doesn't technically meet the criteria. My RfA
Hey there, I'm writing to inform you that I have withdrawn my request for adminship, which was currently standing at 11 supports, 22 opposes and 6 neutrals. This count could have been so much better if I had understood policy, although I believe that 17 questions is a lot to ask of a user's first RfA. I will take on all comments given at the RfA and will endeavour to meet the high expectations of the RfA voters. WEBURIEDOURSECRETSINTHEGARDENplay it cool. 21:50, 20 January 2008 (UTC)

At Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Pb30 question 4, you stated that the candidate had created a certain article. Another user has stated that someone else was the creator of the article. Notability of Devilry
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Devilry, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Devilry seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Devilry, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Angie
I'm not really sure. As she's not so much causing harm as she is being opinionated, most normal methods of dealing with long-term abuse won't work. Likewise, normal dispute resolution hasn't helped. ArbCom is the only ting I can think of that will get a definitive result. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 04:17, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
About the article that i recreated
hi there, thanks for your message and now let me tell you why i've recreated an article about Kord (band) and why i don't understant someone has deleted. First i think this band named Kord it's notable because they are a good band and i find out more details about them on google. I read the Wikipedia policy for artists and because they had at least one charted hit in a national chart, they were for many times subject of half hour a broadcast on a national radio and tv channel, and one of the members was a part for a very well known band of artist named Nicola Nicoleta Alexandru, because of all of this i think they should be present here on Wikipedia, i mean they are notable. I understand that YouTube is not considered a reliable source, but in this case how should i prove that they are notable, that they were a subject of a broadcast on a national tv? I think there are already many motives for Kord (band) being present on Wikipedia. Let me show you some reliable sources that i found about Kord on internet and tell me how should i use this for let others know that Kord is a band which is notable: 1. 2 months ago they were invited in a very well know tv show named TEOVIZIUNEA 2. In december they were the subject of a half hour broadcast on a radio 3. On Myspace i saw so many comments about them from many people which admire their work. 4. One of the members of Kord, named Stefan Corbu was a part of very well known band of artist named Nicola Nicoleta Alexandru . And those are only few reliable sources which i remind right now, and i'm sure that anyone who'll search on internet about them will find out more reliable sources. My question was directed at improving the article, since I was under the impression that the character's mother was dead, but the article states that his parents were divorced. It's not important, since they just said that on tonight's show, but you should follow Wikipedia:Please do not bite the newcomers. Lavender Gooms (talk) 04:05, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
Quick question...
Is there any specific assignments you would want be to do or anything for me to work on? I'm always up for a challenge or assignment.-- Barkjon 19:06, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
Well, sorta more assignments for the "adpotion" program or things to improve being good here.-- Barkjon 22:47, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

I think you are right. Thanks a lot for reminding me.--Mark Chung (talk) 00:18, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

Giant Cabbages
since my page was completely deleted I'm still not done, I'm going to make it again, and again
just for the record Wikipedia is not a reliable resource, it is not a real encyclopedia, almost anyone can edit a page and if it sounds convincing enough it would pass by the inspections of people like you. so i could make a page that sounds true and Wikipedia wont know the difference, at least not for a while. i have seen mistakes before, but don't get me wrong alot of the information is factual but there is enough that is not that would make me want to back up anything i find on Wikipedia with any other websites. plus almost anyone can make websites for that matter, making probably less than 10% of the stuff you find as true creditable websites
did you really just ask me to find you something not notable on wikipedia? you do know all notable means is well known, just hit the random article button on the home page, you can find a one sentence wikipeia page dedicated to a random famous person's sister. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Neilbennett (talk • contribs) 05:17, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

I have protected this page due to edit warring between you, Maniainc, OverlordQ and GlassCobra. You should consider carefully the implications of using your rollback button in a content dispute - it says "this edit was so worthless I am not even going to explain why I am reverting it". Misuse of the rollback privilege may result in its withdrawal. Stifle (talk) 09:34, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

WP:AFC Backlog Drive
WikiProject Articles for creation needs your help! | |
WikiProject Articles for creation has done a tremendous job in working at WP:AFC over the past 7½ months. Thank you all for your hard work and dedication! Together, we've made the submission process easier and more streamlined, developed tools to make the process go faster for reviewers, and cut the backlog down to a mere fraction of what it once was. Well done! As you all are aware, however, our work is not quite yet done. The project still has 10 archive pages left to complete, which include over half a month's worth of submissions, many of which have not been completely reviewed. We need your help to finish looking over these neglected submissions so that we can finally remove the backlog notice from the page, and put an end to the more than two year old backlog that has been a thorn in our side for ages! Participants will receive an AFC Barnstar, so hurry up and help out while there's still work to be done! Make sure to sign in on the WikiProject's talk page so we know who is involved in what promises to be our final effort to complete this goal. Thank you for all your help! |
You are receiving this letter because you are listed as a participant in the Articles for creation WikiProject at WP:WPAFC. To avoid receiving further notices, please remove your name from the list. Thanks!

Hey, dude. I just got a message from you dated for January of 2008 telling me about an edit "I" did. Well, sorry to piss in your cornflakes, but my ISP uses dynamic IPs, and as such, I have only had this IP since yesterday, when I restarted my DSL modem. 72.155.117.180 (talk) 14:01, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
AfC news
Dear AfC participant,
- Msgj and Tnxman307 are organising the AfC challenge! It's a little competition to help improve some of the articles created through AfC and we are hoping that everyone will get involved. For level 1, you just need to bring a stub up to Start-class. Level 2 is improving a Start-class article to C-class. And so on. To get involved or for more information please see the competition page.
- Those of you who haven't reviewed an article recently might not have noticed the new process that was implemented this year. Reviewing articles is now more enjoyable than ever :) You might like to give it a try. All articles waiting for review are in Category:Pending Afc requests. (Please read the updated instructions.)
- Please consider adding {{AFC status}} to your userpage to keep track of the number of articles waiting for review. At the time of writing we are officially backlogged, so help is needed!
- There is currently a proposal to bring the Images for upload process under the umbrella of WikiProject Articles for creation. The rationale is that both processes are designed to allow unregistered users to take part more fully in Wikipedia, and partipants in each process can probably help each other.
If you no longer wish to receive messages from WikiProject Articles for creation, please remove your name from this list. Thank you.

An exciting opportunity to get involved!
As a member of the Aviation WikiProject or one of its subprojects, you may be interested in testing your skills in the Aviation Contest! I created this contest, not to pit editor against editor, but to promote article improvement and project participation and camraderie. Hopefully you will agree with its usefulness. Sign up here, read up on the rules here, and discuss the contest here. The first round of the contest may not start until September 1st-unless a large number of editors signup and are ready to compete immediately! Since this contest is just beginning, please give feedback here, or let me know what you think on my talkpage. - Trevor MacInnis contribs 00:51, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

Experience
The page has misinformation. It states flutes and saxophones are made with plastic materials which in not true. The information IS relative to those who are beginning. I'm the expert with 30+ year of repairing musical instruments.Nipplefist (talk) 03:54, 20 September 2009 (UTC)
- While what you're saying might be true, you must include notable sources in the article that say what you're saying in order for it to be included. Without sources, we cannot verify anything and word-of-mouth is not legitimate. If you can find some sources, then great, go slap them in there. SilverserenC 13:39, 20 September 2009 (UTC)

Scarlett (G.I. Joe)
- I’m sorry to bother you, but I thought I should let someone know about a user called Doctorfacts[1]
He/she keeps deleting and adding wrong info on the G.I. Joe Scarlett page and never gives any explanation as to why[2]
To explain what is going on the page as best as I can... he/she keeps stating on the page that there was it implied that Scarlett was romantically involved with the character Duke and then goes on to say that they were together... now that doesn’t make any sense since implied is not an answer and yet in the Relationships section, it says that they were together. There's no source or episode from that cartoon show to prove that. I'm trying to be as accurate as I can on that page and I have listed which episode and have written out the scenes that explain that. But looking at that person's history page, that user goes on to remove any info that says otherwise no matter what and gives no reasons too any of this or that he/she will listen or stop and it seems that very little control goes on over there. Again I'm sorry to be a bother, but I thought someone should know of this. That person just keeps doing that.
This person is out to delete information just because he/she doesn't agree with it.[3]
Something needs to be done. 75.60.208.208 (talk) 20:24, 11 May 2010 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open!
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. For the Election committee, MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 17:31, 23 November 2015 (UTC)
