Bloecked vandal
Hello Yamaguchi, I noted you blocked this account for vandalism [1], at 19:46. While eyeballing the User Creation Log I stumbled upon a very similar sounding account [2] created (interestingly) at 19:32 (I figured the original vandal already saw his block coming - IF they both have the same owner), I thought you might want to know and if action is required on the new one (e.g. I cannot judge if the underlying IPs of both accounts are the same / similar). Cheers, Horseless Headman (talk) 20:24, 27 January 2016 (UTC).

Changes towards Faiz Subri article
Greetings. I understand your point on maintaining a neutral point of view regarding an article. If you were to read my changes to the article, it would be claer to you that all I did was describe the goal, as per every manjor news outlet did( news outlets which have been included in reference). I suggest a simple google search before blindly deleting a proper section. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:E68:442B:113D:F5FE:B603:A444:390A (talk) 19:43, 16 February 2016 (UTC)
- Hello 2001:e68:442b:113d:f5fe:b603:a444:390a, thank you for contacting me. While it is certainly possible that a simple Google search may display results which match the language you are using, it is plainly not congruent with our Wikipedia:Neutral point of view policy. Note that "this policy is non-negotiable, and the principles upon which it is based cannot be superseded by other policies or guidelines, nor by editor consensus." Take for example one of your most recent edits where you add this sentence to the lede paragraph:
- "Faiz is most notable for scroing a wonder goal during a premier league game that became a global viral sensation." [3]
- This type of promotional language is not acceptable for a Wikipedia article, and certainly not appropriate for the introduction. Please review the policy mentioned and if you have any further questions after you may contact me at any time. Regards, Yamaguchi先生 (talk) 19:54, 16 February 2016 (UTC)
- I see where you're coming from and I agree that the line can be deemed unfit for the introduction section. However , I do think that the "Viral Sensation" section is still acceptable for that is how sports work in this modern age and how most sportsmen get noticed for moments like these. Maybe , the language used isn't in line with the wikipedia style, so I suggest that you try editing it based on the articles already up on major news sites. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:E68:442B:113D:F5FE:B603:A444:390A (talk) 20:03, 16 February 2016 (UTC)

My reply to your comments
I'm not happy with you reverting the edits on ex-Degrassi star Miriam McDonald. That Wikipedia's so-called strict policy on writing about living people is stupid and lamely absurd. Answer this question is this supposed to be The Free Encyclopedia? To me it isn't, it's like false advertising despite being non-profit. No wonder why Wikipedia went downhill in recent years and their reputation too. I've been criticized about my comments on so-called protection policy, and my edits on Wikipedia. I've been doing edits on Wikipedia since late 2004 when it was hip, but now it's not hip anymore with the changes. I'm a good person, not a bad guy. I felt like they're making me the bad guy of this story. As a True American, a True American fights what he believes in, not siding with the enemies. I felt displeased.
Thank you for your understanding, have a great day. Spencer H. Karter (talk) 19:29, 23 February 2016 (UTC)
- Hello Shkarter1985, thank you for contacting me. The Wikipedia:Verifiability policy exists to counter misinformation and original research. My primary concern is that the content you introduce to Wikipedia is supported by reliable sources which may be verified by others, and I hope that you would support such a requirement. If you disagree with any portion of Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons or related policy, please outline your concerns on the respective talk page. - Hello 79.21.69.78, thank you for contacting me. As mentioned, Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, meaning that the material presented within the article must be supported by reliable published sources which may be verified by other readers and editors. Need some other eyes
Hi Yamaguchi, this is a colossal waste of your time, but would you please take a look at 130.204.81.214. Since November 2015 he's been insisting that an episode of Sofia the First, "Minimus is Missing" belongs in S3, not in S2. There has been a prolonged conversation about this at Talk:List of Sofia the First episodes. Consensus determined that the strongest reference was Disney's own website, which places it in S2. (There were other references too, like the US Every time it got put back to S2, he'd move it to S3. He's done nothing in the way of bringing reliable sources to the discussion, having cited IMDb, Wikia and TV.com (all user-generated sites). After I patiently waited a week for him to respond with solid references, and even sent him a reminder to participate even though he was editing other articles, I eventually moved the episode again. He, however reverted again, and decided to repeat the same comment three times on the talk page.
I think he's deliberately being a petulant irritant at this point. He clearly isn't willing to accept the consensus, he doesn't seem to grasp what a reliable source is, and far too many people have been inconvenienced over this stupid crap for the last four months. Thanks. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 19:41, 8 March 2016 (UTC)
- I appreciate your comment at the article. I was more asking you for some adminly intervention though, since he's again restored the problematic content and has demonstrated no interest in accepting consensus. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 21:09, 8 March 2016 (UTC)

Hello Yamaguchi, an editor has tried to move the article Nithin to Nithiin in good faith, but has done so by just copying and pasting the contents from one article to another rather than using the move feature, so the edit history is gone and I think that implies attribution issues. I brought it to your attention since you have patrolled it in the past. Best regards. --Crystallizedcarbon (talk) 08:06, 11 March 2016 (UTC)

Grangehilllover (talk) 18:48, 14 March 2016 (UTC)
- Hello Grangehilllover, thank you for contacting me. While not necessarily the most desirable in terms of sourcing an encyclopedia, there are scenarios where a Twitter comment may be utilized as a source to help establish date of birth. In this particular instance however, the Twitter account in question is protected [4] and only visible to confirmed followers. The year of birth is not clearly stated on the profile page. If you have another reference which meets our content guidelines as a reliable source, would you please provide these in the article or discuss them on the relevant talk page? Hello. I went to see whether there had been any response to my query at the above page and was surprised to find that it had been deleted. Would you mind if I undeleted it? I don't feel that it qualifies for G5, mainly because the user wasn't blocked at the time it was created, but also because it's a user talk page. To be honest, I don't really like the deletion of user talk pages unless they are pure vandalism or otherwise completely inappropriate. Thanks —DoRD (talk) 02:41, 15 March 2016 (UTC)

Changed block conditions
I have changed the conditions of a block you placed. Usually, I consult the blocking administrator before making such changes, but this time it seemed so clear that the change was justified that I went ahead and did it. If for some reason that I can't see I was wrong, please revert my change and let me know why. The block was on the IP address 206.29.176.51, and there was an unblock request at User talk:clpo13. The IP address is allocated to a mobile phone service, so it is highly unlikely that all editing is from one person, and also highly likely that accounts unrelated to the edits that led to the block will be affected, so I changed the block to anon-only. As I said, please let me know if you think I was wrong to make that change. I am, in fact, a little puzzled by a two week block for "Long term abuse", as there had been only one edit from the IP address in over a month, which makes two weeks an odd block length, and nothing I can see in edits over the last few months makes it look to me as though edits from the IP address on different occasions have been from one person. Tangled
It looks like Edits201 (talk • contribs • deleted contribs • nuke contribs • logs • edit filter log • block user • block log) is the same block-evading editor who has an unhealthy obsession with Tangled and its talk page. What do you think? Erik (talk | contrib) (ping me) 13:49, 21 March 2016 (UTC)
- Yes, it seems likely. It may be worthwhile to submit a CheckUser inquiry. Regards, Yamaguchi先生 (talk) 18:37, 21 March 2016 (UTC)
Karachi, Pakistan
Sir i would take an opportunity to request u that someone has written Karachi as largest city in the world. Multiple copyvio
Hello Yamaguchi,
I have already tagged 11 files created by Gymirgatey-MDM for copyvio. The problem is that this SPA has created many more along with a promotional article that I have also tagged for speedy deletion. You can see the long list here: Special:Contributions/Gymirgatey-MDM. Is there a way to batch tag or batch delete the copyrighted material added by this user, or do I need to continue tagging the files one by one? Best regards. --Crystallizedcarbon (talk) 19:33, 22 March 2016 (UTC)
- Thank you! That saved me a lot of mindless copy-paste.--Crystallizedcarbon (talk) 20:07, 22 March 2016 (UTC)

Thanks for the unblock
I appreciate your taking the time to review my case, and I'm glad to see that you've stuck around through the last ten years. Looking at the logs, you were the one who caught me back in the day... and I look forward to contributing now. Hope for smooth sailing :D - yetieater — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yetieater (talk • contribs) 19:38, 24 March 2016 (UTC)

About Shahzad Town
Thanks for a great response, But the article Shahzad Town is not an article published by me, Before I edited this article, the article was full of spelling mistakes, Broken sentences, Personal experiences and etc... But I will try to improve the article as I had lived in Shahzad town for a long time.

My I ask "specific reasons" why my edits were reverted
Dear Yamaguchi,
Bit disheartening to see my effort reverted on several pages. Here is the list. May I ask the specific reasons why were they reverted and what is the way (specific enhancements needed) to have them reinstated?
In most cases, I do not really see a reason for revert, I had put several hours of search and effort, instead if you have better edit then reinstate it with your own revision or at least restore my edits but insert specific flags/tags/suggestions for improvements.
Thanks,
A. I AGREE TO YOUR REVERTS
A1. Morni Hills
https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Morni&oldid=prev&diff=711606502
I agree to your revert to let Mohali remain there.
B. I HAVE FIXED THE ISSUES AND RECREATED THE EDIT WITH ENHANCEMENTS
B1. List of Archives in India
https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=List_of_archives_in_India&oldid=prev&diff=711604590 Seems my edit was reverted as it was without reference. I have included a reference.
C. I WILL RESTORE THESE REVERTS, SEE THE SUGGESTED IMPROVEMENTS I WILL MAKE, LET ME KNOW ANY OTHER CHANGES NEEDED TO BE INCLUDED FOR ACCEPTANCE OF RESTORE
C1. Ambala, Kos Minar and Taraori I will REVERT these after inserting additional REfERENCES
Here, https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Ambala&oldid=prev&diff=711606466 https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Kos_Minar&oldid=prev&diff=711604718 https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Taraori&oldid=prev&diff=711604351
I will REVERT these after inserting additional REFERENCES, hopefully that will be okay with you? let me know any other changes needs to be included to make my edits acceptable.
C2. Govt of Haryana
Here https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Government_of_Haryana&oldid=prev&diff=711604561
Will these be acceptable instead if create a new wiki article as LIST OF HARYANA GOVT DEPT?
C3. Adi Badri
Here>>https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Adi_Badri_(Haryana)&oldid=prev&diff=711606532
My edit are in two location, first location is just expands on the current text, why should it be reverted? Second location, I have provided the specific reference, I do not really see a reason for revert, instead if you have better edit then reinstate it with your own revision or at least let it be but insert specific flags/tags/suggestions for improvements.
C4. Jambandi
Here>>>https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Village_accountant&oldid=prev&diff=711606521
All I have done is replaced a dead reference with a valid official govt-website reference. Why should it be reverted. I fail to understand. Please restore my edits.
C5. Tosham, Madhogadh, Madhogarh fort, Kalayat Ancient temple
Here>>https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Tosham&oldid=prev&diff=711606514 https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Madhogarh,_Haryana&oldid=prev&diff=711606508 https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Kalayat_Ancient_Bricks_Temple_Complex&oldid=prev&diff=711606498
I did create a new SEE ALSO subsection, instead of reverting my changes, you can please restore my edits but edit out the bullet points you think should not be there, that was it is collaborative improvement instead of discouraging and running new contributors off wiki.
Unblock request from 216.69.46.40
Hi Yama, there's a (quite detailed) unblock request (here if you have access) from a staff member at the college which uses this IP requesting that it be unblocked. Do you mind if I unblock and try it out? Callanecc (talk • contribs • logs) 08:12, 26 March 2016 (UTC)

Please don't get me in trouble
I was vandalizing at school today, and after you blocked me I noticed on the messages page "abuse reports" will be sent to the network administrator in response to vandalism. I'm not entirely sure what that means, but it sounds like you're going to call my school and get me in trouble, and I'm begging you not to do that if you haven't already done it. I'm a cheerleader and my coach might kick me off the squad if I get in trouble cause she is strict. I don't want that. I was just messing with Wikipedia because I heard you could change it and I wanted to see how it works, I know I should have been more productive instead of destructive, but I won't edit Wikipedia again unless it's to make it better. I'm a good person, I know I was wrong to mess with your site, but please don't get me in trouble for this, I'll do anything to make it up with you. :( Kailey 2001 (talk) 21:31, 28 March 2016 (UTC)
