Ranking
Hi there!
just curious, does some ranking exist for certain editors over others? I added internal links in a Wikipedia page to another Wikipedia page, only to discover the next day that the links had been removed and the page reverted by a user without even a name, just an IP address: 66.130.12.185.
If you were to make such edits, would that user go in and remove your changes as well, or do you somehow outrank his edits?
It's an odd political minefield to navigate, so a list of who holds the trump cards will help me decide whether it's worth my time to make any edits to the rampant examples of atrocious English found on many of the pages, especially after I spend time adding harmless links only to have someone else arbitrarily decide they were "unnecessary" and remove them. As someone who has worked in web design for over twenty years, internal links lead site users to stay on a site and visit more pages, thus increasing the number of connections and usage of the site as a whole. This is the first time I can remember where added internal links were ever decided to be "unnecessary", especially when one considers that there are no pages on Wikipedia that anyone could with any sound reason label as "necessary" in the first place.
Please advise regarding political structure of editors. If it's too arbitrary, the number of your editors will dwindle at a record pace.

No, the CSD was not a mistake. I have replaced it; this is an unremarkable company.TheLongTone (talk) 13:20, 12 March 2016 (UTC)
Hi. I trust you are well :). May I prevail upon your good nature and extend an invitation for you to visit a poll and vote here. Of course please feel free to ignore my request if time is too short (and I'll just go away ). This vote is for a small issue—the insertion of two navboxes into Michael Laucke, a recent GA article. We thought it would be good policy to go through the democratic process of voting.
Thanks you so much in advance for your kind consideration and for your wonderful contributions to Wikipedia. With utmost respect and kind regards, Natalie Natalie.Desautels (talk) 07:15, 14 April 2016 (UTC)
