Howdy, I'm White Arabian Filly, a Wikipedia editor from the United States of America. I live on a farm and have dogs, a horse, chickens, bantams, rabbits, goats, ducks and guinea pigs.
From August 14 2015 to November 10 2015, I edited as User:White Arabian mare and racked up about 2100 edits. However, I lost my password for that account and without email, had no choice but to abandon the account and create this one. In between I did use my IP address and an alternate account, User:White Arabian mare alt. I was told that there was a possibility my account had been hacked, as well. If I ever lose my password again, though, I will not edit until I can get it back using email.
Origin of username
Many of you (especially you horsey Wikipedians) probably want to know why my username is WHITE Arabian Filly, and not Gray Arabian Filly, since there are almost no true white Arabians. This is the explanation!
When I was a horseless kid, my ultimate dream horse was a gray Arabian mare who had turned pure snow white. I got the idea from several sources, most notably the Black Stallion series by Walter Farley and King of the Wind by Marguerite Henry. I didn't realize the difference between white and gray, so I referred to the ones that looked white as white.
Then as a tween, I wrote a couple of wish-fulfilment stories starring a white Arabian mare named Crystal and her owner, who was basically a souped-up version of me. In one particular story, the horse was stolen and I (the rider) jumped her over a four-foot barbwire fence to escape the thief. (Huh, that sounds a lot like the plot of one of the Saddle Club books. Perhaps I should try to get it published.)
Full disclosure: I do not actually own a white Arabian mare, although I'd like to someday. I do own a mustang/Quarter Horse cross bay gelding.
You can call me WAF for short.
Editing Habits
I'm liable to be logged on any time between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. Central Standard Time. I live on a farm and spend a minimum of three hours outside each day, so it may be a little while before I can get back online sometimes.
If I ever suddenly disappear from Wikipedia, it'll probably be for one of the following reasons.
I may go inactive if Wikipedia starts to require an email address to edit. I don't have email, so I'll have to go AWOL until I get it if this ever happens. (I'm hoping it doesn't; there are too many sites that require your personal information already.)
I may get sick or hurt, in which case I'll try to return as soon as I'm better.
I may be unable to get online at all, due to a power outage, internet meltdown, or other situation beyond my control.
I may be on vacation or taking a business trip; if any of my novels are ever published or artwork is ever sold, I may very well get to go on a promotion tour.
Thank you for introducing yourself and contributing to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to drop me a line at my talk page. Happy editing!
Thanks very much for your message, if there's anything you can do to help. Please do, as I don't know wikipedia too well yet and worry I've not done enough. When I started the article I had about 19 references then people edited it and eventually it became this stub. Joshua FerdinandPippathecat (talk) 22:10, 9 October (UTC)

Thanks for the help
Thanks so much for your help as to how to get into an article's talk page! It worked - now I need to figure out how to do references properly! Nubelibra (talk) 02:11, 30 October 2015 (UTC)
It's annoying whatever happened to your account, but I'm glad you can still edit here okay. Rubbish computer (HALP!: I dropped the bass?) 16:28, 13 November 2015 (UTC)
The Teamwork Barnstar
For helping to salvage the topic of Western Dressage I award you the teamwork barnstar. I am always disappointed when a new user shows up with a good topic but lacks the skills to do the job. It is always nice to see a more skilled Wikipedian help to recover the useful information the new user provides. HighInBC 01:06, 25 November 2015 (UTC)

Time To Spread SomeHappyHolidayCheer!!
I decorated a special kind of Christmastree in the spirit of the season.
What's especially nice about the digitized version is that it doesn't need water,
and it won't catch fire.
Wishing you a joyous holiday season...
...and a prosperous New Year!! 🍸🎁 🎉
Pony!
Congratulations! For hitting the ground running with gaited horse articles, you have received a pony! Ponies are cute, intelligent, cuddly, friendly (most of the time, though with notable exceptions), promote good will, encourage patience, and enjoy carrots. Treat your pony with respect and he will be your faithful friend! Montanabw(talk) 05:10, 14 December 2015 (UTC)
