To report an error on today's or tomorrow's Main Page, please add it to the appropriate section below.
- Where is the error? An exact quote of all or part of the text in question will help.
- Offer a correction if possible.
- References are helpful, especially when reporting an obscure factual or grammatical error.
- Time zones: The current date and time is displayed in Coordinated Universal Time (15:53 on 23 April 2016), not adjusted to your local time zone.
- Do not use {{edit fully-protected}}, which will not give you a faster response, and in fact causes problems if used here. (See the bottom of this revision for an example.)
- Done? Once an error has been fixed, or has rotated off the Main Page, or has been acknowledged as not an error, the error report will be removed from this page; please check the page's history for discussion and action taken.
- No chit-chat: Lengthy discussions should be moved to a suitable location elsewhere.

In the blurb for Inveraray Castle, it's stated that construction began in the 1750s; yet the actual article/entry specifically states a year of 1743. Why the difference?68.231.71.119 (talk) 05:22, 23 April 2016 (UTC)

- I'd suggest changing the blurb to 1740s; as with many Scottish castles of that time exact details are sketchy. Looking at the Historic Scotland info, October 1746 was when the foundation stone was laid. Plans had been drawn up between 1744 and 1750 - see 2nd para of Site History section here. - Have gone with 1740s, per SP. — Chris Woodrich (talk) 07:18, 23 April 2016 (UTC)

- Thanks, Chris. I've tried a quick fix on the article meantime. Maybe someone will think about expanding the article as there's loads of info about it. SagaciousPhil - Chat 07:25, 23 April 2016 (UTC)
Oh Wikipedia! A dangling participle in the Featured Picture blurb, about as prominent as it gets. Awien (talk) 11:15, 23 April 2016 (UTC)
