Channel Island occupation articles
This series of articles is an ongoing project. Please see Talk:Civilian life under the German occupation of the Channel Islands. If you want to discuss it with me, please feel free to do so. Ânes-pur-sàng - À la perchoine 10:09, 17 January 2016 (UTC)
From long time afore now
- I suppose if you shoehorn that definition into spleen, the hatnote would work, but sending people to that article without it being currently mentioned there is just confusing. Clarityfiend (talk) 03:21, 30 January 2016 (UTC)
Kennemore
Hello, and good day. My name is, Sammy Wright, and Mr. Robert Kennemore was my Grand-Uncle. I was fortunate enough to spend two Summers With family in California while traveling with my late Great-Grandmother, Mary Grace Glenn ( Summers of '83 & '84 I believe) . I didn't have the opportunity to meet with Mr. Kennemore on my trips out, though I wish I could have. I was just curious if you are part of the family, or if you just took an interest in the subject. Thanks, and best wishes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 107.146.183.21 (talk) 15:37, 10 March 2016 (UTC)
- Good day. No, I'm not related to him, except in a very, very, very distant way, of course (Mitochondrial Eve and Y-chromosomal Adam). Clarityfiend (talk) 00:57, 11 March 2016 (UTC)
- If Mitochondrial Eve is the source of us all, and lived 100,000 years ago, before her descendants came to Europe 40,000 years ago, how does one explain the advanced technology in Europe 400,000 years ago?73.220.34.167 (talk) 06:05, 12 March 2016 (UTC)
- I'm no expert in this area, but that doesn't preclude people who weren't our ancestors leaving traces of themselves in Europe, then dying out. Clarityfiend (talk) 10:51, 12 March 2016 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for March 11
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited A League of Their Own, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Miss Georgia (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Paid Editing
There is payment for editing??? I usually just get nasty messages, bans, and account suspensions...73.220.34.167 (talk) 06:00, 12 March 2016 (UTC)
- Of course. The sneaky ones just try to fly under the radar. You're allowed (grudgingly) to submit paid articles at WP:AFC, and nobody could possibly object to nominating some for deletion. As for the rest, improving references may be a bit borderline, but hardly controversial. (It also helps if you've been contributing for years and years without major complaints.) Sunset and Varian's War
Caught these films recently on re-runs at the Hollywood Suites Channel. This is your next assignment, both films are a real hodgepodge (so were their articles). FWiW Bzuk (talk) 00:32, 26 March 2016 (UTC)
