Should the current artist's impression be removed from the Planet Nine infobox?
You can at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

Any idea on what to do with this one? The one on Commons is essentially the same image, but the text has been typeset by someone else who made a typo in one of the words. Should we try to get one deleted? --Stefan2 (talk) 13:40, 13 March 2016 (UTC)
- @Stefan2: I would probably try to fix the typo in the Commons image and then propose deletion of the local image.Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 14:04, 13 March 2016 (UTC)

Hi: Just a note that it's unclear if you have approved the ALT hook provided at Template:Did you know nominations/Paraelongatoolithus. If you have, please consider adding the standard {{subst:DYKtick}} mark. Otherwise, promoters may skim past the entry on the main DYK nominations page, thinking that it has not been approved. DYK nomination of Cordón del Azufre
Hello! Your submission of Cordón del Azufre at the Did You Know nominations page has been reviewed, and some issues with it may need to be clarified. Please review the comment(s) underneath your nomination's entry and respond there as soon as possible. Thank you for contributing to Did You Know! GregorB (talk) 21:05, 15 March 2016 (UTC)

Well I have to address the content you removed.
The location you reference is a torrent site who copied their information from the Vocaloid wikia. Incidentally, the information that site uses was stuff I myself had written that on the Vocaloid wikia. I transferred the information I had written on the wikia to wikipedia with tweaks. I have already reported that the bot who pulled up that information is linking to torrent pages and explained the situation there. Angel Emfrbl (talk) 07:41, 17 March 2016 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Maryn mckenna
I edited the article so that it isn't in copyright conflict. Does that mean it will still be deleted? I'm still new here but from now on I know not to copy and paste. Also, do you have any advice for finding an image for a new article that isn't copyrighted? Book-Portal & Talk 12:52, 18 March 2016 (UTC)
- @BookPortal: I've retracted the deletion request. For the images, you may want to search on Wikimedia Commons if they have a free image there.Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 18:05, 18 March 2016 (UTC)
@Jo-Jo Eumerus:I'm currently working on a new draft here. When I'm finished, where can I go so it can be reviewed before trying to create the article again? Book-Portal & Talk 13:10, 18 March 2016 (UTC)
- @BookDraft: You may want to use Wikipedia:AfC by adding
{{subst:submit}}
in your draft. I note however that it looks like some text has been copied and only slightly modified from http://marynmckenna.com/bio/, something that could still be a copyright issue.Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 18:15, 18 March 2016 (UTC)- @BookPortal:, that is.Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 18:15, 18 March 2016 (UTC)
Template:Protected generic image name
A few files were not included in your nomination at Wikipedia:Files for discussion/2016 March 7#Template:Protected generic image name. You might wish to nominate the remaining ones for deletion too. I found these files:
- File:Edit.jpg
- File:Brett.jpg
- File:PICTURE.JPG
- File:Webb.jpg
- File:Use more precise file name.jpg
- File:Logo.svg
- File:Picture.svg
Also one more which is listed on today's FFD page. --Stefan2 (talk) 20:40, 19 March 2016 (UTC)
- Yeah, they are now all at FFD. Let's hope I didn't omit anything this time (both in terms of files and procedure) Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 21:35, 19 March 2016 (UTC)
- Apart from one G4 candidate, there are no other files which use {{Protected generic image name}} or exist in multiple copies. It's possible that there are some files which only exist in one copy (same SHA1 checksum not reused for any other image). --Stefan2 (talk) 23:55, 19 March 2016 (UTC)
- I'll take note that that template will have to be deleted too when the files are gone.Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 23:58, 19 March 2016 (UTC)

Mountain, montane, alpine
Hello, Jo-Jo Eumerus -- I thought you might be interested in a discussion underway at Talk:Mountain ecology#Renaming article. If I understand it correctly, an editor already renamed it before there was any discussion, and another editor suggested leaving it at the new name until a discussion was held and consensus reached. Also look at the sub-section just below this one; they're related. You have quite a bit of knowledge in this area, so you may be able to help. – Corinne (talk) 23:24, 8 April 2016 (UTC)
