Your recent edits
Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (
or
) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Sorin Hall (University of Notre Dame)
I have removed your AfD template fom the top of this article, and deleted WP:Articles for deletion/Sorin Hall (University of Notre Dame), because those would only be appropriate if you were proposing that the article should be deleted from Wikipedia, and it is plain that that is not what you want. (If I have completely misunderstood, tell me and I will restore them both, and complete the AfD nomination process by adding it to the daily log).
If what you disagree with is the conversion of the article into a redirect, that is simply a content dispute, and the guideline for what you should do is WP:BOLD, revert, discuss cycle. User Ansh666 (talk) boldly made it into a redirect; you have reverted him; if he disagrees with that, the next step should be a discussion on the article talk page.
However, I should say that a hall does not become notable just by saying so: the test is whether there is evidence of "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject," including from outside the local, University environment.
Halls of residence are not often considered notable in Wikipedia's sense. A number of other articles about UND halls have been discussed at AfD, resulting in redirects, e.g. Alumni Hall, Stanford Hall, Dillon Hall, Siegfried Hall. I think that would be the likely result if this one went to AfD; the best thing you can do to protect it would be to find independent references. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 21:04, 15 February 2014 (UTC)
- I should add that reverting was OK here because this redirect was not the result of an AfD discussion. In cases like the four I listed, where the redirect is the result of an AfD (you can tell from the history), you should not simply undo the redirect. If you disagree with the result of an AfD, you should first approach the administrator who closed it; then, if you are still not satisfied, there is WP:Deletion review. JohnCD (talk) 21:24, 15 February 2014 (UTC)
Re your comments on my talk page: Alumni Hall (University of Notre Dame) and Badin Hall (University of Notre Dame) were both redirected as the result of AfD discussions, which JohnCD was kind enough to link above for you. These should not be undone without taking the steps he outlined above. Just be glad that I haven't taken the rest to AfD either. I won't be reverting you anymore, but know that what you are doing goes against established Wikipedia procedure. 6an6sh6 02:06, 18 February 2014 (UTC)
- That you found additional sources has no bearing on the fact that the articles went through an AfD discussion. You still need to carry out the requisite procedures before they can be reversed. 6an6sh6 02:24, 18 February 2014 (UTC)

Size of Notre Dame
Please explain in the article's Talk page why you believe it's appropriate to substitute the opinion of an undergraduate student for the judgment of experts in determining whether Notre Dame is "large" or "medium." ElKevbo (talk) 18:17, 8 November 2015 (UTC)
- I did. You are so aggressive, you should try to be a better citizen. Cheers! Eccekevin (talk) 18:26, 8 November 2015 (UTC)

You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
