I was one of the proponents of the formation of the arbitration process and was one of the original members of the arbitration committee. After helping develop the arbitration policy, and participating in the first few cases, I resigned. I rejoined the committee after receiving the support of the community in the December 2006 election and remained a member until September 2008.
I reside in the Minneapolis area.

statement on Wikipedia Copyright and Licensing. I have been a long-time advocate of the CC-BY-SA license for Wikipedia, and contributed the first CC-BY-SA licensed image.
