In addition to barnstars, there are several other awards. While barnstars are generally reserved for a long-standing pattern of excellence, the following awards are more often given to honour a specific action or event.
The Zen Garden Award for Infinite Patience may be awarded to an editor who has shown extraordinary patience in the face of toil or turmoil. This award was introduced on March 31, 2006 by ClockworkSoul.
The WikiMedal for Janitorial Services is a medal with which to reward those doing good janitorial work. This award was introduced by Topbanana on June 16, 2004.
The Exceptional Newcomer Award may be awarded to newcomers who display exceptional enthusiasm, skill, and boldness beyond their experience. This award was introduced by ClockworkSoul on November 7, 2004.
The Missing Barnstar is designed for Wikipedians who are long overdue for a Barnstar due to their efforts, if they've ever received one at all for that matter (apparently their Barnstar was missing). The Missing Barnstar was introduced by Karmafist on September 1, 2005.
This barnstar is alternatively used as an award for finding a hidden user subpage. When used in this way, it is called The Hidden Barnstar. However, this image is sometimes used instead. This different use was introduced by Penubag on June 1, 2007.
The Featured List Medal may be awarded to an editor who makes great contributions to three or more lists that have a Featured List status, or to users that have contributed greatly to the FL process.
This award was introduced on December 9, 2008 by Scorpion0422 and the barnstar portion was designed by Cannibaloki.
The Reviewers Award is an award to show appreciation for work at any of the Wikipedia:Featured content processes. This award was introduced by Ambuj.Saxena.
