von Babo's law (sometimes styled Babo's law) is a scientific law formulated by German chemist Lambert Heinrich von Babo. It describes properties of dilute solutions and low gas pressures.
Babo found that the weight of a gas dissolved by a liquid is proportional to the pressure of the gas upon the liquid. [1] It has similarities with Henry's law.
