Submission deadline: 6 hours' time! Publication scheduled for late Wednesday, April 21, 2016.
Once all tasks are complete, the publication manager will complete the publication process.
Weekly schedule
Our current standard weekly schedule:
- Thursday–Sunday: start. Start all pages that are to be included in the next edition, either on-wiki or in Google Docs.
- Monday: draft. A rough outline of topics to be covered should be in place by the middle of Monday, so that if a regular reporter is unavailable, the editor can find a replacement for that week.
- Tuesday, early Wednesday: mature versions. Aim to have reasonably mature drafts of all pages for comments by the managing editors, fellow journalists, and other interested editors.
- Wednesday: finish! Last-minute tweaks and copy-editors go through the drafts; publication in the evening.

- WikiProject Christian music - I was thinking about interviewing some of my fellow members of WikiProject Christian music, and discovered this page purely by coincidence. I already have the editors lined up, and will conduct the interviews and write the article myself, if the Signpost is willing to publish it.--3family6 (Talk to me | See what I have done) 22:40, 24 February 2016 (UTC)

- This would work well, since this year is Wikipedia's Year of Science.--3family6 (Talk to me | See what I have done) 22:52, 24 February 2016 (UTC)

Note from editor(s)-in-chief
@Go Phightins! and Gamaliel: Any idea when the April 8 edition (if at all) will be published? Armbrust The Homunculus 11:49, 13 April 2016 (UTC)
- Armbrust and all, while the Signpost segments currently show 13 April as the date, the Signpost page itself shows 14 April. Kharkiv07 will fix this discrepancy later tonight. It's because the publication process began before midnight UTC, but ended after. Andreas JN466 01:18, 14 April 2016 (UTC)
- Btw, Armbrust, I've noticed you don't like having the publication time in the byline. I'd prefer it if it were there, just because all the other segments have it, but if it really irks you I won't bother inserting it next week. ;) (You're right of course in that publication time is not exactly critical with FC.)
