Photography interview
I asked User:SounderBruce if he would like to write a piece about photography for this issue of the newsletter. He said he would like to, but thought it would work better as an interview. Since photographers all have their own way of doing things, I present the following questions to be answered by those editors who take photographs of roads.
- How do you set up your shot? Location? Lighting? Angle?
- What's in your camera bag?
- What is the most difficult shot you've taken?
- What road have you photographed the most?
- What is your favorite picture you've taken that's used in an article? Least favorite?
- What is your favorite unplanned shot?
- Do you regret not taking a photo of something?
- What do you look forward to photographing?
- Do you edit your photos? What software?
Put your answers in their own 4th level section and I'll put it all together before publishing. If possible, please link to any photos mentioned (Flickr or other external links are OK if they're not at Commons). –Fredddie™ 21:29, 31 May 2015 (UTC)

I have an idea that isn't quite fleshed out, but what about a sort of story where new editors can ask their questions anonymously (or not), and get them answered from experienced editors? --Rschen7754 04:28, 16 June 2015 (UTC)
- How do you propose we take anonymous questions? Obviously they can't post them here directly. –Fredddie™ 04:35, 16 June 2015 (UTC)
- They could e-mail them to me, and in my role as de facto editor-in-chief of The Center Line, I could strip the names and repost them here. I'd still know the account names because of how the Wikipedia e-mail works, or I could set up a one-off Yahoo mail account, which would get whatever their e-mail addresses but wouldn't get their Wikipedia account names.
