SelfRef Humor.
Indeed, I agree with you regarding improper placement of such notes. Yet, let's go one step further and suggest that such humor should find a place for posting in its own Wikipedia article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by William R. Buckley (talk • contribs) 17:56, 7 February 2013 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for April 9
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Fiona Caldicott, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Catherine Hughes (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

A new reference tool
Hello Books & Bytes subscribers. There is a new Visual Editor reference feature in development called Citoid. It is designed to "auto-fill" references using a URL or DOI. We would really appreciate you testing whether TWL partners' references work in Citoid. Sharing your results will help the developers fix bugs and improve the system. If you have a few minutes, please visit the testing page for simple instructions on how to try this new tool. Regards, MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:47, 10 April 2015 (UTC)

Thanks for the cookies!
Hi Martin, thanks very much for the welcome! It was nice to get the virtual cookies. I'm very grateful for your help, and will certainly ask you if I have any problems. Still doing things in a small way at the moment.
