Hi, this is my user page. My user name is AutomaticStrikeout (a reference to Ryan Raburn, formerly of the Detroit Tigers and now thankfully hindering the Cleveland Indians). My main areas of work include tagging files under the appropriate WikiProjects, updating baseball infobox statistics and fixing links to disambiguation pages, among other things. I have some promoted content, which is detailed below. Some more history: In June of 2012, I founded the Umpires task force of WikiProject Baseball and in September of that same year, I helped start the Referees subproject of the NFL WikiProject (although the ref subproject never really got going). In between, I was a founding member of the Today's Article for Improvement Project. I have also written some essays which are linked below. I formerly operated a Hall of Fame, and currently give out the Golden Editor Award. Information about both is linked in the tabs above. My signature history can be seen at User:AutomaticStrikeout/signature history. Finally, for some good Wikipedia-related comic relief, try reading Wikipedia:How many Wikipedians does it take to screw in a lightbulb? (not written by me).
