{{Quote|:::::::Here is the post I tried to load a minute ago, lets see if it works this time. I'm familiar with the useage and availability of those servers but I still think its a mountain out of a mole hill and there are other ways of gaming the system if that's what they want to do. I also still don't see any proof that the problem is as big as you describe. You say you have procedures in place to allo wthem to edit but do they know what they are? Probably not. Most people aren't going to spend 2 hours to search about how to make a change if they see a typo that needs correcting and they are restricted. Their just going to say screw it and walk away and tell all their friends that Wikipedia sucks and doesn't meet their mandate as the Encyclopedia '''anyone''' can edit. And rightly so. If '''anyone''' has to either create an account or search for 2 hours on instructions to submit a change then '''anyone''' doesn't apply. Anyway, I digress. The point of my posting wasn't to argue the merits (or lack of merit) of preemptively using a bot to block ips that have never edited, it was to argue the merits of reviewing the IP blocks to allow more editors to edit. Particularly those range blocks which include several very large groups, several universities and colleges and even a couple countries if I am reading them correctly. Many of which have been in place for a more than 3 years, some for as long as 10 years. Anything more than a year is unnecessary in my opinion. If we unblock it and are flooded with vandals then extend it for another year, but this indefinate blocking is abusive and needs to be restricted. Maybe even limited to Arbcom or Steward action only. What in that post is unconstructive or needs to be filtered? I tell you, nothing, this is all because Wikipedia does not want IP's to edit and it goes to great lengths to ensure that IP editing is as painful as possible in a petty and misguided attempt at forcing the users to create accounts. I don't need an account. [[Special:Contributions/138.162.8.59|138.162.8.59]] ([[User talk:138.162.8.59|talk]]) 22:04, 3 February 2014 (UTC) |

- The Law of One (Ra material) (filter log)
- Description
- The edit filter prevented the removal of a proposed deletion tag from a redirect that was ineligible for proposed deletion. Since any editor in good standing can remove a proposed deletion tag for any reason, the edit filter must not prevent the removal of proposed deletion tags. In any case, it should not prevent the removal of proposed deletion tags from pages which are not eligible for proposed deletion.

- The Room (2003 film) (filter log)
- Description
- I was adding a section of famous quotes from the film, which are widely known by the cult fanbase. It contains a decent amount of quotes from the film, and they are all really funny if you read them in Tommy Wiseau's obscure European accent.
