Neelangarai (Tamil: நீலாங்கரை) is a census town in Kancheepuram district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.
Demographics
As of 2001 India census,[1] Neelangkarai had a population of 15,688. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Neelangkarai has an average literacy rate of 70%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 77%, and female literacy is 63%. In Neelangkarai, 11% of the population is under 6 years of age.
