Edin Osmanović (born May 20, 1964) is a Slovenian football manager. He began his career in NK Rudar Trbovlje, and later coached many clubs in the Liga Simobil Vodafone (or First Slovenian Football League), the highest level in Slovenian football. With HIT Gorica he became the Vice-Champion of Liga Simobil Vodafone, entered the semi-finals of the Slovenian Football Cup, and went to The UEFA Cup Championship, making it his most successful club, and one of HIT Gorica's most successful seasons. With NK Korotan, he became the Champion of the Slovenian All Stars Competition, and entered the semi-finals of the Slovenian Football Cup. With NK Dravograd, he became the Vice-Champion of the Slovenian Football Cup. He coached several other clubs, including Publikum Celje, NK Rudar Velenje, NK Aluminij and ND Mura 05. He also worked with other coaches, including Stanko Poklepović.

Career
1995–1999: NK Rudar Trbovlje and Publikum Celje
After Osmanović got his Slovenian Pro Licence, he started his coaching in NK Rudar Trbovlje. After Osmanović left Rudar Trbovlje, he became the assistant coach to Stanko Poklepović in 1997. After Stanko Poklepović ended his time in Publikum Celje in 1998, Osmanović replaced him as the head coach.[1] At the end of the 1998/1999 season, Osmanović left the club and went to HIT Gorica.
1999–2002: Success with HIT Gorica and NK Rudar Velenje
With HIT Gorica, Osmanović became the vice-champion of Liga Simobil Vodafone, and went to the UEFA Cup Championship. Before the continuing of season 2000/2001, they also won a friendly match against Crvena Zvezda, Serbia's most successful club, with a score of 2:1.[2] This was one of the most successful seasons in HIT Gorica history.[3][4] He brought HIT Gorica to the semi-finals of the Slovenian Football Cup.[5] In 2001 he left HIT Gorica, and went to NK Rudar Velenje.[6]
2002–2003: NK Korotan Prevalje
In 2002, Osmanović went to NK Korotan Prevalje.[7] With Korotan, he won the Slovenian All-Stars Competition.
2003–2006: NK Dravograd and NK Aluminij
In 2003, Osmanović went to NK Dravograd. With Dravograd, he became the vice-Champion of the Slovenian Football Cup. While Dravograd lost the first match of the final against the Slovenian champion, NK Maribor, he won the second match, with a score of 4:3. Osmanović left Dravograd, and went to NK Aluminij.[8]
2007–2010: ND Mura 05
After Osmanović left Aluminij in 2006, he went to ND Mura 05 in 2007.[8][9]
