Kovelamudi Raghavendra Rao (born 23 May 1942), known popularly as K. Raghavendra, is an Indian film director. As of 2006, Raghavendra Rao has directed 106 films. His most recent film Sri Ramadasu was a major commercial success. He also directed Hindi films Himmatwala and Tofah.
He won the best choreographer Nandi Award for his dance direction in the film Pelli Sandadi and was awarded the B.N.Reddy National Award for 2009 for his contribution to the Telugu film industry.

He has a huge fetish for the navel since his movies always have guaranteed navel show of the heroines.[1] He used to include the navel of the heroine in every possible frame[2] and exploit it in song sequences such as dropping of water, flowers, fruits, ice cubes etc., on the navel.[3][4][5][6][7][8][9] Legendary Telugu actor & director Dasari Narayana Rao had once commented, "When you see a heroine slightly removing her pallu to show her inside assets, you don’t feel ashamed of it because of the artistic way in which Ragahvendra Rao projects it on the screen. Especially heroines' navels look most beautiful in his movies".[10][11][12]
